Don't you just HATE it when a good juicy thread gets closed? I HATE that! i mean I understand WHY the thread gets closed, but I am a "have to have the last word" kind of gal. There was this thread that was going, and the OP just totally exposed herself, with just a little bit of disagreement from other posters. She even pulled the troll ID thing to back up her posts, so that she wouldn't feel alone on the the thread. Well it just got so ridiculous apparently after I went to bed last night, and the thread was closed. So I sign on this morning, and see this utter nonsense she (and her troll ID) had spewed (with exactly the same writing styles btw) and the thread is closed now and I can't have the last word. I HATE that. My mouth was drooling with comebacks. Sigh. Oh well. Just wanted to vent about that.

Anything you just HATE?

Usually an OP will request their thread be closed when they realize that no one is supporting their sense of righteous indignation OR when one of their own subsequent posts on the thread shows their true colors, as happened in the yawning thread.

Kind the old "I'm taking my toys and going home now" mentality.

It turns ugly around page 7 when the OP comes in as a new identity who just "happened" to find the DIS because she is planning a trip and just "happened" upon the thread and felt the burnig need to defend the OP who she didn't know in her first post but then did know in her second post.

My guess is we'll never hear from "Figaro" again.
