Don't you hate the comment"there are other places to visit besides disney world"

I am getting so sick of hearing this,then i taught a few a good lesson.Here's the proof.Notice the top of the link in the search area.

Nothing beats Disney!!

I feel that my kids can always visit places like Hawaii, Bahamas, etc. when they are older....but they can only experience Disney as a child for a short amount of time.

Hey, I do go other places than WDW. But really, it's not my business where anyone goes on vacation. They can visit the biggest ball of twine in Minnesota for all I care.

Of course there are other places to visit..but that doesn't mean we have to go there!

We actually only go to Disney once in a while, this summer I'm thinking we might head to Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. If you talk to people I work with they think I go to Disney all the time...if they only knew what all the time really was!!! LOL!

we are on trip 20 in 14 years.....or is it more......I dont know......we went when everyone kept on saying we had to go someplace for our silver anniversary.....yah right.....when we got to Port Orleans we looked at each other and thought what are we doing here.......we went to Epcot and called home and I cried ........this was not going to be great......but nowwwwwwww twenty or so trips under our belt and we are going again in a few weeks.....YIPPEE...my mil who will be 90 said it last night.......there ARE other places you know.......I ROLLED MY EYES.........rofl

I agree totally....our kids are young for only a short while and I like to see Disney thru their eyes ,while I can.

I Love Disney. When asking the kids this yr where they wanted to go on vacation they all said "Any where BUT DISNEY"
I guess my kids are not the norm. My Dh was was very happy to not go to Disney also.

We leave in 2 weeks for the Dominican Republic. We are all very excited.

When I told my DMom about our planned trip in 2007, she told me, "You know, there are REAL places to visit, too- Washington DC, Williamsburg, etc". The funny thing is that we do go other places- DMom and DDad are the types that don't like to ever go to the same place twice for vacation. I just smile and nod, then we do what we want anyway.

WDW is a REAL place- geez!!

I get busted on at work by my brothers about our trips to the world. But, when they are thinking of going themselves who do they come to with questions? ME!!! And then ask if my DW can help plan it because of all the discounts she finds. I think I'll start charging them...

As a travel agent I try and persuade lots of people to go everywhere else other than Disney, less crowds for me, more dole whips, lower queues, no standing on the busses, big choice in the food court.
Whats not to love?
