Don't Trust the 2011 DDP?

Hi all, this may have been discussed already but I just got off the phone w/ a cast member via the DRC phone line and she informed me that the 2011 DDP brochure is not accurate or complete as some of the restaurants will not be added or removed until the very end of December to early January. So, do not be alarmed if a restaurant is not listed at this time. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

This happens every year. Contracts have to be renegotiated between Disney and the restaurants that are on property but that Disney doesn't own.

It is pretty safe to use last year's list. Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I haven't seen a restaurant removed in years, other than ones that closes. Certainly not any of the ones in the parks or major resorts.

Nothing will be removed from the current brochure; the list as it exists now is only restaurants owned and operated directly by Disney.

As others have said, the renegotiations with third party owned/operated restaurants is an annual process that continues right up until the end of the year, when an updated brochure will be released.

No restaurant has stopped accepting the plan since Fultons, which only participated for the first year the DDP was offered (2005) and has not signed on since, so using last year's list is a fairly safe bet.
