Don't the stores seem less crowded than in previous years?

People are spending here like crazy! I think this is the busiest/biggest holiday season i have seen in years! I was pretty shocked about it.

Very much so. I was in Milennia Mall here in Orlando Saturday before last and it wasn't any more busy than a typical Saturday--same thing with Florida Mall.

It's picked up at the Florida mall. We went yesterday and it was nuts, I couldn't take it and didn't stay long. On our way out some guy was speeding through the parking lot and almost hit my car, he then gave me the finger and it wasn't even my fault! Ahhh the holiday spirit!

DH works right down the street from the mall and is trying to take another way home tonight because OBT is a parking lot from the mall traffic.

I'm done with the malls till after New years, we're going over to Disney tonight to brave the crowds there instead.

i think it's about where the deals are. People are bargain shopping. For ex. K-mart empty, walmart, packed. Macy's was packed during their special sales days, dead on the rest. Mall was pretty busy as was target. But stores that weren't offering big discounts weren't getting the business. I look online and find the best price, then i either order it or go to that store.
