When I checked yesterday some days had FP+ available for MSEP and Wishes.

I was able to book these FP+ and for the MSEP it gave me a Frontierland Viewing area and for Wishes it said Rose Garden Viewing area. Illuminations said Germany Viewing. I can't recall what the Fantasmic said. So they must be roping off areas for this FP+ testing. This is something I would like to test out because it would be nice to just walk up 15 minutes before.

It's weird some days give me the options of booking parades and Wishes and some don't. Of course the day i want it it isn't an option. So far I haven't found a day with Illuminations viewing available.

Are these known to be good areas for view the parade/fireworks?

Without fast pases, etc....where would you go to watch Illuminations if you were staying YC CL? Stay in Epcot that night for them? Or is there a better spot?

We just arrived this morning after our Disney Dream cruise and we were upgraded to concierge! First time for us after two previous stays here and one at the Yacht Club. We got a full balcony as well. We have a rooftop view, but also one of the pool. It doesn't matter to me though. We are feeling the magic already!! My daughter is celebrating her 13th birthday, so it made for an especially nice surprise with the upgrade. Hope everyone who is here is having a great time. Maybe we'll see you around the pool!

Oh my gosh! I just arrived home from the Undiscovered FutureWorld Tour. I LOVED IT! It's a must do for any WDW fan. There were so many tidbits of info I learned! We saw the VIP lounges in the Seas and Mission:Space pavilions, saw the costuming department and where they fix the costumes and even saw Ariel and Cindy doing their makeup! We rode Soarin' with no wait and learned some rumors about the future of the ride. If either rumor comes true, it would be awesome! The tour was long....4.5 hours with a 15 minute break at Sunshine Seasons. But I would definitely recommend it!

OK Catho......One more thing to add to my to do list.

Great thing about WDW. Always something new to do!

For me there's nothing like being on the lagoon at EPCOT for Illuminations. A few of my favorite places.....The bridge between Great Britain and France, Japan, between Mexico and China and Canada. More good places than bad. Just watch out for trees in the lagoon that can block your view.

Another BIG tip. Check the wind direction. We got smoked on the bridge once and wouldn't wish that on anyone.

The great thing about watching and staying so close you can just sit back and enjoy. Watch it end and watch everyone else in the mad dash to leave. No bus, monorail, boat trip to worry about/cram into.

Many times when my family is too pooped to go I just walk over and enjoy and walk back!

My favorite spot is on the steps of Canada.

Loved this tour... took it a few years ago... should do it again!! I find that when you take them again you get a little bit different info and in some cases do different things!! So glad you enjoyed it!!

Kind of an off topic question....This will be only my 2nd trip to WDW ever coming up in October. Since I have been following the Disboards, I have noticed most people go quite frequently. I want to be one of those people. Lol

So.... How often do you go? Have you always travelled like that or is it more as kids get older/grown? Do you have a vacation other spots as well or just mainly Disney?

Thanks!!! :-)

Hey Buzzy,

Please tell your fellow flying friends to go away......the mosquitos are out in full force right now at SAB. I've had to destroy several in the past few minutes. One just landed on my finger as I'm typing this post! Go find some other person here and leave me alone!

Back to your regularly scheduled YC/BC programming.....

We took our first WDW trip in 2005, the kids were 4 & 6 then. We went again about a year and a half later and after that we pretty much started to plan our lives around Disney! :rotfl: Since then we have gone once about every 8-12 months and will take our 10th WDW trip next month. :goodvibes It's an addiction, I admit it!! DH wasn't too on board at first, but now he loves it just about as much as I do. I personally am ready to start experiencing other places, but the rest of the family is perfectly content to continue to return to WDW every vacation. (I did talk them into 2 days at the beach this upcoming trip!) So if that's what they want to do, who am I to complain?!! :teeth: It's our place I guess, we all feel very comfortable there. Our kids could navigate the Orlando airport alone if they had to, as well as getting on the Magical Express bus, the resorts, the parks, the park buses, all of it. We sometimes take short trips to other places, but have never really had a major vacation anywhere else since going to WDW. :)
