Ack! My 9:25 AM flight has been delayed unti 2:00 PM!

AirTran did not send text notifying us of change so we got to airport for on-time flight.

Not a good way to start vacation..

Oh no! I'm so sorry!

That's WONDERFUL!!!!

Way to change lemons to lemonade!! (Nope, not big enough. Way to change limes into margaritas!!!!)

Too excited to sleep...flight leaves in 10 hours...YC here we come!

Since someone had to take Johnny Depp home with her, maybe Orlando Bloom will move into the hot tub?

Some things at hotels at complementary and some aren't. He was not complementary and was supposed to be left for the next guest. :)

Well some people take the extra shampoo, conditioner, lotion to remind them of the BC so I took Johnny... I will send him back today. He will arrive by magical express... it was an honest mistake I swear :cool2:

No connecting flights to worry about, thank goodness. Long line of unhappy people at gate counter...

That stinks:sad1:

Ooooooo....DH just had a great idea. We can use the free tix for a more expensive flight to California and go to Disneyland!!!

I think we are up to super-size margaritas!

Raise your voice. This is not acceptable. Can't they get you on an earlier Southwest flight??? Even if they route you through another city? Speak with a supervisor. You should at the very least get compensation for their mistake. They always notify people of flight changes.

Although California (Disneyland) is nice, Christmas at WDW can't compare to Christmas at Disneyland. In Florida you can spend a day just going around to the resorts looking at the holiday decorations. Each resort is special in their own way. Most of them are so wonderful to see. And the different Christmas stories at all the countries ... that can take a whole extra day at Epcot.

Two days, three at most, and you are done in California. You will have seen everything possible to see.

Now if you combine a trip to California with other stuff besides Disneyland and
California Adventure, that would be super fun. But if you are just looking for a holiday at Disney, Florida wins hands down!

So cute!

I know that pout well!! That is the exact same face I make when it's time to leave the BC for the airport!!!

Agreed! And love the photo of Lily - too cute! As for taking a break from the water, I can definitely relate. Hope you all have a safe trip home!

And now, a bit of Minion Mayhem with Dee and Ben!

Some rooms have a day bed, so I would have that request on your reservation. And when you go to check in, ask again if it would be possible to get a room with the daybed. If its not possible you can as the desk for a rollaway. To my knowledge there isn't a charge.

So sorry about your mom.

Thank you. I will try for the daybed, though we're staying in August so I realise that requests will be hard to meet.

Yeah!!! :thumbsup2

Less than a month to go now and I'm starting to get excited:). Since we first booked this holiday our lives have been turn upside down, my mum was diagnosed with and passed away from cancer, all within a month. Since then I have spent most of my time dealing with her estate and so the holiday planning has taken a back seat.

Anyway, we really looking forward to staying at the Beach Club and especially trying out the pools. There are four of us, two adult and two teens. I think that I've read that SAB gets really busy/noisy in the afternoons, are there some times when it will be quieter as well?

One more quick question, is it possible to rent a rollaway bed or would we be better buying a blow-up bed. My daughter doesn't mind sharing with me, but my son says that he would rather sleep on the floor that share. Also, if we get a blow up bed, is it ok to ask housekeeping for extra bedding (I wouldn't expect them to make the ned each day, we would do that).

:)

So sorry about your mom!:sad1:

My DH would NEVER leave SAB :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Mine either....:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

No, there was no room on flights--direct or connecting--on SWA or Airtran that would get us there any sooner.

They have given us free round trip tickets to anyplace they fly.

We've done Christmas at WDW for the past four years and I agree that it is wonderful. DH has never been to CA, so we'd make it a longer summer trip.

I am so excited, me and my husband are looking to take his parents to Disney World and I think we have decided on the Beach Club villas (none of us have every stayed there). We want a 2 bedroom villa for September of 2014 but I can't get anything out of Disney's website  It seems to be that the 2 bedroom villas are unavailable from Feb 2014 till the end of 2014....That can't be possible can it? :confused3
