Quick update. We are having a blast spending most of our day at the park. Only coming back to room for short breaks to change out of wet ride clothes. All set to check into the beach club mid day tomorrow after a few final hours at the dark side.

Only met up with buzzy once so far during our trip at three broomsticks for lunch.

Heard from teena. Her flight to Denver was delayed so she missed her connection. She did finally take off and will probably arrive home around midnight.

Glad to hear you made it there safely! I'm looking forward to hearing all about your trip.

I hope Teena made it in last night and is having a good sleep right now.

I'm heading out to California this morning for a business trip, I'll be back late on Thursday.

Greetings from OKW! The transition was smooth. I had my luggage down at bell services at BC at 7:30am asked that it be taken over to OKW... they said they transfer luggage between 1-4... fine by me as long as I don't have to do it!! I then got on the bus and headed to MK for the Marceline to Magic Tour... this was an amazing tour! I've taken it before and since I feel like it goes with the Keys to the Kingdom Tour I wanted to take it again since I had just taken the Keys tour. This tour was so different than the last time I took it... we were taken through the Haunted Mansion with our tour guide who talked to us and explained how things worked and why. Then we we're brought backstage under the ballroom scene and got to see how that works!! So cool!! I really enjoy taking the tours and learning all about how and why things are done the way they are. Tomorrow/today I'm going on the Steam Engine Tour!! Can't wait to learn all about those trains!!

Hoping to meet up with Dee tomorrow night since it's my last night here... until September!!! I love having more trips already planned because it makes leaving not so bad!!!

Ok off to lala land gotta be at MK at 7:15 am

We modified our Feb 2013 reservation to take advantage of a room only discount when it was offered in Oct of 2012. I called up and they applied the discount without any problems. There was also a stay, play and dine discount that was offered at the same time, and if we wanted to take advantage of it we would have had to change our room onyl reservation into a package, requiring rebooking. But since we were staying at a deluxe resort, and there were only two of us, the room only discount saved us more money.

I don't know whether CL rooms were included or not.

Woke up at YC! Still feeling a little lost around here. Asked for a quiet room and got put in Canada. so a lot of extra walking. Next time I may ask to be near an elevator because this place is so huge. (Seriously, is there only the one set of elevators? DD asked if we could take the freight elev instead. Had to explain no we aren`t freight, sadly, heehee.) Our room is way too big for just the 2 of us. I should have stuffed dh in a suitcase and made him come along with us. Oddly though, he remains uninfected by the disney bug. Tried SAB and BandC last night... helped dd eat her fries b/c she was trying to save room for ice cream. Wow those are some good fries! She loved it. I am thinking adding the wpfm was a mistake. But trying TL soon today if dd ever wakes up. Life is good.

I logged into MDE to check (still don't know yet how many days)

I am able to make FP+ selections...apparently

feeling verclempt ...gonna try this...hope I can "tweak" it later...

No, we are overlooking roof and even some of SAB from our room. On the BC end of YC. Waaay down rhe hall toward BC. Not the worst standard view despite the roof. We can even.see.BW some! But did I mention the long walk to the elevator?

I asked my husband if he was interested in booking any of these tours and he responded that he was worried that it would ruin the Disney magic if he saw how things worked. Did you ever feel that way? Does knowing how the effects are made spoil the ride for you? I would love to see all the "secrets".

We have had that feeling too.... Taking the plunge this November and doing KTTK. We did Behind the Seeds tour last year and loved it. Great 'gateway' tour.

Are you sure? I have the "Make FastPass+" button, but it just brings me to a screen saying if I am not participating in the mymagicbands test it is just a dummy...

Hi all-


Here's my quick update from the past few days....went to SAB every morning-got burned yesterday. My daughter found if you take a handful of sand and rub it on your hands, it makes for very smooth hands!

Went to MK Sunday afternoon...had BOG for dinner (awesome!) and Wishes Dessert Party (even more awesome!). Saw a couple get engaged there just as fireworks began,,,,,truly magical! Stayed at MK until 1am for EMH. Took a while for busses to arrive for the mass exodus at park closing.

The rest of our family has arrived. There are 19 of us here now. Nephew got his first haircut at MK! SIL and fiancée were BC family of the day yesterday...they were magically upgraded from a lagoon view room to a CL lagoon view room! It's an oversized king room with a magnificent view of SAB! All of us staying at BC are now CL. Speaking of CL....I highly recommend it! The CM's are fantastic and magical. We are truly spoiled.

Yesterday, DH and two kids went to Epcot with the family while our 10 year old and I went to SAB then her and I headed to Epcot in the afternoon. The rain put a damper on our quest to ride Test Track but we did ride Sum of all Thrills. It's a lot of fun! I was able to utilize the Ninja Mom Slushie Swaperoo....I ordered a Gray Goose Slushie and asked if she could pour it in my refillable mug. She didn't even blink an eye! It's was a good plan because as soon as she poured it, the skies opened up with a massive downpour. Not only did my mug keep my slushie cold, it also kept it out of the rain!

Our family enjoyed our dinner at Biergarten. We'd never been there before and we'll definitely be back!

We then went to DHS for EMH. Rode RnR and TSM before leaving.

To the people requesting pictures of items from the Marketplace, I haven't forgotten about you! I promise I'll post pics eventually.

We are headed to DHS for lunch with everyone at Sci-Fi then we'll head to Epcot for EMH tonight.

This wasn't so quick of an update....sorry!

DIS-OH, glad you made it here after all of your delays! Maybe I'll see you here!

We are doing CL and have no interest in DDP free or otherwise. I am not so patiently waiting for the hopes of a RO discount for GP, AP, or DV card holders. I'm a little nervous about our dates as they are excluded from FD anyway and may not get any RO love either. Looks like word got out on the 1st week of December and it won't be uncrowded any more. :-(

I think it will be more crowded this year since Thanksgiving is so close.

I have broken my toes so many times I stopped counting. One time a kid on junior high was running down the hall and stomped on my foot, I broke 3 that particular time. All the others ..... Are " where did Pam go " oh there she is on my backsides, good thing I have plenty of padding

The first 2 days are the worst by day 3 you will be walking with hardly any pain. 4 day totally forgotten! poof be gone broken toes!

Yea!!!! This is what I am going to believe - I shall be walking like a relatively normal person in a few days. Thanks for giving a poor, pathetic, klutz some hope...

I'm so sorry! That is a terrible inconvenience, and it won't be easy but I know you will rise above it.

I didn't break a toe, but I did break my face in my last two kiddie park adventures. At the first, Happy Hollow, I was trying to rescue DD 2.5 who was climbing on a wooden structure, I broke her fall but smashed my nose into a 2x4 on the way down. My nose was bleeding inside and out, both eyes were rapidly turning black and I had a split lip that swelled up to the size of a golf ball. The best part is that we were on a 1st play date and it had just started so I had to tough out the rest of the day with stares from everyone.

Two months later, walking into Gilroy Gardens, I fell on my face. I am really pale so I got instant bruise on my right cheek, put a hole in my chin, and bit through my lip so it swelled up like a golf ball (again) and since we were with other people and I promised DD a choo choo ride I had to suck it up and walk around that way again.

The thing is I was in pain but did have fun both days and DD had a great time! I say get a scooter and tour the parks in style and get that handsome husband and three remarkably intelligent and beautiful teenage girls to wait on you hand and foot!

Thanks for this - it puts my stupid toe in perspective. I like the idea of having the family wait on me but more than likely they would try to lose me on a dark ride. Mom? What Mom?
