I always vote! Also - take your KIDS WITH YOU! Teach them the importance of voting from an early age. I have taken my daughter with me to every vote since she was teensy, and now, at 12 yrs, she is reminding me to vote and even voicing her opinions on who I should vote for!
My best friend never votes - says she cant be bothered. Drives me insane!

You know you live in a small town when you go to vote 1st, DH goes a few hours after you as we did not want to take the baby and the lady at our polling station tells him 'your wife was just here'

Good thing I checked the disboards. I was thinking it was tomorrow...I am right smack in the middle of midterms and would have not voted tonight.

8:30 here in Nova Scotia too. Our poll had no line-up but a few of the others were very busy.

I don't understand how anyone can just not vote - you can't complain if you don't vote!

Voted here in NB even though the poles closed 90 min ago and we know who our MP is we are not allowed to post the results on the web till all the poles across Canada are closed
