This past weekend we were shocked at how busy the parks were. The funny thing was, even though we couldn't take a full step walking on the streets, the FastPasses were easy to get! The return times for most of the rides were well within a 1-2 hour window, even when the stand-by times were 60 minutes! It was very surprising.

So, just inch along Main Street, and grab as many FastPasses as you can!

when you grab a fast pass at DL, do you have to wait a certain amount of time before you can grab another fast pass for another ride?

I know it was that way at DCA the last time I went, but I don't remember if it was that way at DL.

Is it just the weekends that are extremely busy, or are weekdays bad too? Anyone been there during the week lately?

I was there Friday and a little surprised at the crowds but had no problem with the fastpass etc... A friend of mine is from Vegas and he said Friday was a Nevada Day holiday. Maybe that had something to do with the amount of people The previous days we're great as far as dealing with crowds-- few long lines and did not need fastpass too much. This was our first DL trip and we LOVED IT!

Last thursday was great as far as the crowds go at DL.Friday and Saturday were nuts.We collected fast passes all day long and used them later in the day.It's the only way to survive.We did have a couple of CM's look at us like we were cheating but the said nothing.Oh well ,I'm glad I knew that little secret.It made life bearable.

We always go this past weekend, because of the Nevada Day holiday. The crowds were considerably worse than in years past.

At one point, DH had 4 different FPs in his pocket! We have 7 people in our group, so it was a big stack! The CMs were laughing at him trying to find the correct FPs at the entrance to each ride!!

As many as you can get. You get a FP at say 10 am and it will give you a time when you can get ANOTHER FP say 10:40. and so on. Just keep collecting them to use before the end of the day. DCA is not on the same system as DL so you could get FP at DCA at the same time. Didn't someone post a whole huge deal on how to collect FP? Hydroguy maybe?

Ya, I find the general population at Disney parks to be surprisingly in the dark about a lot of stuff....I don't personally understand how you can spend thousands and thousands of dollars and not do even a few hours of research, but hey, I'm not really complaining because it makes my tricks work even better!

Yeah I agree, fast passes are a life saver. I dont know what most of us would do without them. They are really easy to get.

shellyof4, the times I have been to WDW I don't have the need to use them, parks have been empty!!
