Don't Despair! Sept. ADRs still out there!

Just wanted to post a quick note that I was able to get a dinner ADR for 50's PT for Sept. 10 today. Party of 4 for around 8 p.m. We like to eat late so the time is fine with us. I cancelled an ADR for HBD for 8 p.m. at the same time. I've been checking on 50's for a few days now (made only 3 calls, in total). I haven't been able to get Coral Reef yet for dinner on 9-12 (however, there was a lunch time available today) I currently have an ADR at Bomas for that night that if I get CR , I will be cancelling.

So, don't despair, if you haven't gotten that "hard to get ADR" yet, keep calling. You may luck out. Be flexible with meal, and times, to increase your chances. I have to say I was surprised when I made the rest of my ADRs about 2 weeks ago and I was told 50's PT wasn't available-for the entire day! I guess it's now one of those harder to come by ones.

I've had surprisingly good luck switching a few of our ADR's around today and yesterday. We're going Sept 8-16; I made all my ADR's 180 days out but then decided yesterday to try and change a few. I figured everything would be booked by now, but much to my surprise got all FOUR of the new restaurants I wanted! Including Crystal Palace and Cinderella's Gala Feast. For Crystal Palace I had to take lunch instead of dinner, which may actually work out better for our family.

Way to Go!! I have been trying to Months to get Cindy's for us on our disneymoon - but nothing so far .... this gives me hope!

All of those who made multiple ADRs so they'd have some choices are starting to cancel, I think that's why some spots are opening up. Definitely keep calling, I have gotten 'Ohana and Chef Mickey after being told they were booked.

I've been trying to move our Cape May time up so that we could make it to Fantasmic (It at 6 pm now - I'm thinking that's a little too close). Yesterday they only had later times, but I'll keep trying!

Thank you - I think I need it. I've actually tried talking my DH out of this one, but its really important to him. And anything that keeps him willing to indulge my Disney habit is okay by me!
