DON'T CRY OR WE'LL RIDE DINOSAUR AGAIN! A Spring Break TR---Final Thoughts 5/5

That sounds great :thumbsup2 ---Did I see your ticker correctly? Is it POP? It looks like a fun place. So will it be just the four of you, or are you going with the whole family again?

You sure did! It will be POP for the first four nights - I just wrote about it in my TR. Miren is VERY excited about it!! As much as I love going with family...I am really looking forward to just being the four of us - for most of the trip anyway. One of my cousins and her family will be joining us for a few days later in the trip. :)

Your treats from Goofy's look toooooo good!!! I've never had anything from there either. :scared1: The plans are for that to change this summer! :thumbsup2

How exciting for you! It will be nice to enjoy some time at Disney just the four of you! :)

You definitely need to get some treats from Goofy's Cany Co. :thumbsup2

:sunny: Tuesday morning came with sunny skies, and the predictions of warmer temps than we’d had the past couple of days. We were headed to Magic Kingdom! :)

Since we’d been at MK on Friday, and had ridden most everything in Fantasy Land, we decided to head toward Frontier Land and hit up a mountain, or two. As we walked out of Adventure Land, I couldn’t believe how empty this area was right then.

IMG_0509.jpg

The stand-by line for BTMR said 5 minutes. I’d say that was correct! :thumbsup2

IMG_0510.jpg

I decided to be brave and snap a picture as we braved the mountain!

IMG_0511.jpg

We decided to grab some fast passes for later and then decided to head back into Adventure Land to ride PoC. It had not been running when we were in MK on the previous Friday. (When is PoC not working? I had not understood that, but anyway…..we wanted to ride it now.)

IMG_0514.jpg

After enjoying the revelries of the pirate life, we exited, where I saw my first ever Brazilian tour group. The leader had a little flag and everything!

IMG_0512.jpg

We crossed over the hub, and headed to Tomorrow Land.

IMG_0517.jpg

We were going to take a spin with a space ranger.

After riding, and grabbing some more fast passes for another mountain, we headed toward the exit. We had a late ADR at the Poly. It was breakfast time!

Wow! You did all that before breakfast? What a short line for BTMRR! I don't know much about Brazilian tour groups. And, it seems like I've heard POTC being closed several times here on the DIS lately.:confused3

We have found that Frontierland and Adventureland are much less crowded then the other side of the park early in the morning too. Everyone runs to Tomorrowland for SM & to Fantasyland!

The Brazilian tour groups I've encountered in the past have all been teenagers and were all wearing the same color shirt (and they were VERY loud), the group you saw looks much more civilized! :thumbsup2

Looks like a very productive morning and a mild Brazilian tour group with the exception of the person standing on the bench...

I must admit that the teachers in our building have a duty free lunch.
The paras and principal work the lunch room.
Teachers have 40 minutes for lunch and either eat in the lounge or go out. We are within 1/2 a block from fast food heaven!

Wow! One of these days we are going to head that way first! By the time we usually get over there it is wall to wall people.

Looks like a beautiful morning. Can't wait to hear about your breakfast!

What a lovely morning! I can't believe that line for BTMRR. We have never run into a Brazilian Tour Group, but we did run into some teenage girls from a tour group from Argentina a couple of years ago. They were very nice and played with Sam while waiting in line at POTC.

Wow! You did all that before breakfast?

Well we did have a late breakfast reservation. I believe it was for 10:40 a.m We got to MK near opening (which was 9 a.m), and we didn't have very far to go for our breakfast. :)

I think so too, Michelle. :thumbsup2 I couldn't believe it was a spring break week at that moment!

I think the guy on the bench was the tour leader. He was the one carrying the pole with the little flag on it.

Wow, I would love a 40 minute lunch period. :thumbsup2

Wow, the park looks so dead! Awesome. :thumbsup2

I love moments like that, Sarah! :thumbsup2

Try it the next time, Stacy. :thumbsup2 It was a beautiful day, and breakfast was yummy! :)

I know, Megan. I love lines like that. :lovestruc If only every line could look like that. ;)

That's so awesome... look at all the fun you had and you hadn't even had your breakfast yet!! The lack of lines is amazing! :thumbsup2

Hmmm... Will it be Kona or `Ohana??

Kathy

The apple from GCC looks sooooooo good. I am not crazy about Disney's rice crispy treats :guilty:. We have never eaten at RFC or T-Rex, but Dallas wants to try T-Rex. We did eat at Planet Hollywood 2 years ago and we didn't care for it too much.

You are a brave woman to take a picture while riding BTM. I am too scared to let go of the safety bar to take a picture :scared1:. I can't wait to get back and ride BTM though :thumbsup2.

That's why I love getting there early! :cool1: To be able to walk onto BTMR like that is so awesome! :thumbsup2

Wow! What an awesome sight to find MK so empty in the morning. Hoping to see a similar sight in 2 weeks!

Wow! You got a lot done fast! :yay: And we saw our first Brazilian tour group on our trip too! We ended up in the line for BTMRR with them. Let's just say they were really loud :scared:

Yes, lots of fun before breakfast. That's the way to do it!
Breakfast was at 'Ohana and it was delicious as always! :thumbsup2

The apple was delicious, and as much as I fussed at her for choosing the most expensive item, I sure did enjoy taking a few bites of it! :lmao:

You need to let go of that bar, Dana---Hands in the air! ;)

An empty Frontierland -- now there's a sight you almost never see!!!
It was a wonderful sight at that moment. If you remember my NYE TR, we had a picture of Frontierland, and it didn't look anything close to that! :scared1:

That's why I love getting there early! :cool1: To be able to walk onto BTMR like that is so awesome! :thumbsup2

I hate getting up early, and it's sure not easy to drag my teenaged girls out of the bed, but the benefits of it are sure fantastic! :)

It was awesome, Katie. Just think, in less than 2 weeks, you will be enjoying the same view! :goodvibes

I'm jumping on board here! Better late than never, right?:goodvibes

Glad you're here. It's so funny that we were there for the same days! I wish I was back there right now! :)

We did get a lot done that morning, Courtney. I like to get there and do a lot of stuff, and then leave for a late breakfast! :thumbsup2
