Does anyone else think maybe her family did an intervention and Sand Castles is the name of the institution where she is held being treated for compulsive changing?.....If so, we need to break her out and change her to a facility with internet access so she could at least contact us---this is just not like her!!!

Personally I'm glad she went to the beach, because if she was still at AKL with all of the "news and rumours" floating around right now I'm not sure she could take it. And if she was not already in the "institution" this would probably put her over the edge.

I suggest we start making up story lines abot what has happened to her. But Carols is way to plausible , we need something more creative.

Rumour #1

On the way back from Panama City ktink decided to swing by Disney just to take a quick look. But of course once she saw it there was no way to leave with out a brief stay. However her husband had to get back to work and the kids needed to get back for camp. So they dropped her off and headed home. She spent the day at the park and was suppose to head back to the airport to fly home. Instead she headed over to AKL for dinner at Boma. Once she ate she was so full and tired that she needed to rest. So she carefully avoided security and worked her way into one of the closed sections. Once there she found many completely done rooms ready to be used and fully stocked mini bars. Currently she is watching old movies and living off the snacks in the mini bars. It is expected that once the food runs out she will return home, unless security catches her first. Legend has it that if you look very carefully on the balconies in the early morning sun you can see her shadow as she looks out at the animals.

Well the beach was wonderful! It wasn't too crowded and we had lots of crab legs... yum. Anyway my parents went down with us and stayed a few days. They took the kids to Gulf World, Zoo World while DH and I were beach bums. We all went on the Pirate Cruise that I believe space ranger had posted. It was really good for the kids, they had a treasure hunt and played alot of Jimmy Buffett songs.

Since we've gotten back work has been really hectic so I haven't had the chance to DIS. I'm at work now but I can't wait to hear some more theories.

I was just about to write chapter two of the intervention theory when ktink (or maybe an imposter) posted. Love this theory.


Welcome back ktink (we'll call you that for now, until we see some identification). We missed you a lot. As you can see, many have changed resorts since you last posted. So many have been booted from AKL. Tell us about all of the frozen cocktails with crazy names you and your husband enjoyed while the children were away and welcome back.

SandCastles.......I was going to make a joke abt the Betty Ford Center...but didnt want to offend....however, my DH would send me to "SandCastle" in a minute....as long as it was covered by our insurance.
