Donald's Defiant Dashers Team Challenge

Wahoo Triple D's. We leave in 2 days for 2 1/2 glorious weeks at WDW, plus participating in RFTT. I know my miles and hours will be down during that time, but I will TRY and get some treadmill work done at least every other day. :)

My totals for week ending Sept. 25th:
500 minutes 22 miles

Hi Triple D's! An early report, as I am going away this weekend, and have no plans for any biking or running. Walking, a little at a yard sale, but can't count that, too many stops.

My total mileage for this week is 114.5 (includes 4.5 of running) and a total of 8 hours.

Have a great weekend!

Augie

Hey Triple D's, we're here in wonderful WDW having a fun time enjoying the Festival.:goodvibes

Here are my miles and time for week ending Thurs., Oct. 2:
347 minutes 13.7 miles

Won't have much the next couple of weeks, but will definitely be on the treadmill a few times, so I'll keeping in shape for RFTT. Does running to catch a bus count?:rotfl:

To up your miles SamSam, wear the Garmin in the parks and count your walking miles - I bet you get 7 or 8 miles a day. You can count the chasing the bus miles if you chase it from hotel/resort to the park:thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Seriously,

I forgot to log my miles last week:

25.18 (cut back week) running miles in 3hours 27 minutes.
Walk 3 miles (lunch mile) in 45 minutes.

This weeks numbers:
34.6 miles running in 4 hours and 46 minutes
2 miles walking in 30 minutes
weights 1 hour.

Great week and great training all,

Mike "GG" B

Hey Team!! It looks like we have a lot of teammates that are doing really well. We have others that are probably doing just as well but because of the everyday rigors of life are not always able to post their miles. Remember, every mile counts and helps. We are still the front runners of the competition so let's stay there.

I am one too that is posting my time late because of the rigors of life. I am still not able to do any weight training because of the sprain to my wrist but I am still putting in the cardio time and this week, I did get off the bike some and do more training for the upcoming Half. (I really have got to get back out to the track more!) So here are my totals for the week:

Miles - 105.25
Time - 8 hours 45 minutes

Here's to everyone having a GREAT week and SamSam, I sure wish that we could trade places right now.:lmao:

You know, I told Dh that I needed to start wearing my garmin to the parks. We actually started this AM with a mad dash to an event that was open to only the first 50 people to arrive. Needless to say, it was an all out sprint. Alas, I wasn't wearing my Garmin. I will try and remember it the rest of the time. Dh and I always walk as if we're in a mad rush to get somewhere (no strolling for us), so it should count. :goodvibes

Hello Triple D's from beautiful Disney World. :goodvibes Having a great time but not getting in enough workouts. I've been to the fitness room a few times just long enough (I hope) not to lose ground and be able to finish the RFTT without crawling. :rotfl:

Here are my totals for week ending Oct. 9:
160 minutes 18.5 miles
a combination of tm and a little bit stationary bike

Hello all. I had a good week finally with:
33 miles including a half in VT and some XT workouts totaling
260 minutes

Hey team!! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. We are still doing very well with our totals but we do need everyone to post whatever totals they can. We can still win this competition but we have to finish strong as a team so come on everyone, let's get out there and take this thing!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

My totals are somewhat mixed. I was still able to get in 70 miles for the week in 9 hours with 15 miles of that coming from walking/jogging efforts. But I had a couple of bad personal days where I couldn't function as well as I would like. I have gotten a lot of rest today and feel alot better so I am going to get back out there tomorrow. Plus, my wrist is feeling a lot better. I am still a little scared to try to start lifting just yet but I am hopeful it will be soon.

Take care everyone!!!
Bryan

Hello 3D's! What a great weekend we had here, beautiful weather, not a cloud in the sky.

Reporting my mileage for last week, I biked 108 and ran 10, with a total time of 7 hours and 10 minutes. I have started running a few miles every day at work to get ready for two dualathons coming up, one in a week and the other in three weeks. Which will be right after a return from DW.

Have a great week everyone!

Hello Tripple Ds. Vic needs to bow out as captain because of some time issues. Who would like to step up and take over the duties of posting the miles for the team?

He has been a good capain and I'll have to buy him a beer at ToT.

Let me know and we will have Scott get you on the roster posting list.

Thanks

Triple D's Windwalker Dave let us all know yesterday that Big Vic was going to need to step down as Captain of our team. Big Vic has been a good leader for us throughout this competition. But now, we as a team need to come together and figure out who would be the best team captain for us for the rest of the year. So I am asking all of you who would you like to see as our Captain for the rest of this quarter? I would like to take any input that you have and compile some sort of results from that by the end of the week, ask the person that has been selected by their peers to see if they are willing and able and then let Dave know who it will be. So does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for everything and all of the efforts that you all have put in for the entire year so far! You guys are AWESOME!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

Bryan

Team,

I am going to make another request. I am still looking for anyone to make any suggestions or recommendations for a potential new Captain (feel free to PM me on this if you would like) but I do have one other favor to ask. We have several team members that have not reported any mileage for several weeks. With us not having the reports in, we have lost our lead that we had. Jessica's Rabbits have passed us up by 300 miles. Now, I know that we have the miles and hours to take that lead back. We just need to post them. So if you haven't posted any time in a while and if you can, look at your records and help us get caught back up with our records.

Thanks TEAM!!! I do hope you are all having a great week!

Bryan

Hey Bryan,

I am a big delinquent in posting miles over the last couple of months. I will get my act together in the next several days and post my totals.

Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

As for a new captain, I respectfully nominate Bryan.

MikeNo apologies are necessary at all. We all get caught up in the rigors of everyday life. It is very easy to get overwhelmed and let little details go to the side. It is just good to hear from you and look forward to seeing your totals for the weeks that you have missed.

I also want to thank you for the nomination. Are there any others?

Keep Training Everyone!
Bryan:cheer2:

Bryan, that's to nominations for you, good enouth for me. I offered the job to Arnold, but he was busy being Governor of Calif.

See AmyBeth's Hubby Scott and he can put you on the list of people who can do the spread sheet.

The pay sucks but you will do good.
