Donald's Defiant Dashers Team Challenge

Is the end of the week already here? Wow, time flies when you are actually enjoying yourself. I guess I am one of those that belong to windwalker's "YARC" club because I love doing my workouts. I actually just got back from the gym and remembered I needed to post my totals for the week. Here we go:

Miles: 125 (Biking and walking)
Time: 16 hours

(During one of those hours I was training my mom as she is looking at joining my gym since her Curves is closing in 2 weeks. My gym has a lot of things she hasn't used before so I needed to show her. If that needs to be taken off, that's cool.)

I would also like to take a moment and wish all of the Dad's on here a Happy Father's Day. There is nothing in this world that compares for me to being a father. I just hope when my kids get of age, they will be able to look at me and say I did a good job! Hope you all have a great day and let's rock it next week!!
Go TEAM!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: :yay:

Hey Vic I figure I will do this early to give you a little shock. :lmao:

28.5 miles in 315 minutes

Hey everyone! Hope we all had a good week.

My totals for this week are solely biking miles - 103 miles in 6.5 hours. This doesn't include the time I spent under an alcove when a thunderstorm came up suddenly last Sunday. Have to get those running shoes on this week.

Have a great week!

Augie

Checking in with my weekly report. I ran a 10K on 6/7 so get to count double miles for that! This is good, since I totally blew off my cross training, and really had a hard time putting in my miles for the rest of the week. I finally figured out today that my body was really exhausted from my effort in the race - it was hot, there were hills, and it was the farthest I had ever gone. Today I really had to make myself run after 2 rather stinky efforts last week, but I think I was finally recovered and I felt MUCH better. Obviously still lots to learn about how my body reacts to running!

Here are my totals for last week:
Miles: 18.2
Time: 161.5

I am off to Arizona for vacation on Friday morning, and I will try to remember to put in my report before I go. If not, I'll catch up when we get back. We're taking the kids to see the Grand Canyon! I'm really excited because I have never been to the Southwest before.

Great job everyone on putting in the miles, and have a great week!

Hey DDDs!

I can't believe we're half way through the year!
I was a huge slacker last week, no real excuse,
just was overloaded with end of the year work :(

I really need to start getting in some serious training
for marathon weekend in January.:scared1:

so for 6/8/08 - 6/14/08

all wogging - no biking grrrrr.......
12 miles
5 hours of wogging and core

Thanks Little Brother Bryan and Augie for making up for my slacking this week :goodvibes
Drinks are on me the next time in Disney! :drinking1

Have a good week team!

Here are my totals for last week. It turned into an unplanned cross-trainign week.

Weight: 150 minutes
Running: 5.32 miles in 37:30 No races unfortunately but I have two this
weekend to make up for it :)
Swimming: 45 minutes
Softball: 60 minutes

I finished up last week with 11 miles 158 minutes (2 hr 38 mins)

Not looking so good for this week but that seems to be par for the course with me - 1 week good, 1 week not so good!! LOL :rotfl2:

Hope everyone has a good Tuesday!!

Hi, team....

been a tough last few weeks.

I thought I had posted some totals for June 1-7, but apparently not, so I'll have to look that up and post later.

For June 8-14, I have a whopping 7 miles running/1:20, and about .2 miles swimming/:10, for a grand total of 7.2 miles/1:30.
And one less boyfriend, as we split 2 weekends ago. Still friends, but not in a good place, I guess.

I will have higher mileage for this week, since I did most of a 1/2 Ironman triathlon last weekend. Cut short due to weather, so 2.5 miles shorter than it would have been on the run. Had a great bike though!

Hope to get caught up with y'all this week....

Betsy It is wonderful to hear from you again. You have been missed around here. Here is some pixiedust: pixiedust: to help with your problems. I know we all just want you to be happy. Have a great day!!

Quick post to log last week's totals:

Cross training time should go up this week. The family got me a Wii Fit for Father's Day. Been having lots of fun with it.

I've been at National Guard AT and got to run a lot!!!! It was great. Over the last 3 weeks, I've run 28.4 miles in 5 hours, 15 minutes. I also swam for 1 hour and lifted weights/did abs for 2 hours. I feel GREAT!!!!!!! I'm having some minor surgery Friday, that's why I'm posting early

Well Team DDD! We have reached the end of another week. So with that, I guess it is time to post this week's totals.

Miles: 122.5
Time: 13 hours

I was wanting to do a 2 hour walk today but I had a couple of functions that I was supposed to attend and I got sunburned so it messed up my plans. Hopefully, the burn will sooth over night some so I can do something tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a good night!
Bryan
