Donald's Defiant Dashers Team Challenge

Hi, DDD's!!!

How did everyone's week go?

I haven't been posting as this is a busy work week for me, but I have been exercising!!

Swim: 1.6 miles/1:00
Bike: 54 miles/3:55
Exercise bike (because I'm on the road this week): 31.3 miles/1:40
Elliptical (because my hip is still keeping me from running :sad1: ): 9.4 miles/:55
Water run: 1:00 (no miles)

Total:
96.5 miles (yeah, if I had known I was that close to 100 I would have stayed on the bike longer)
8:30 hours

Have a good weekend! I'll post more next week, 'cause I'll be off work!

Betsy - WTG!! :thumbsup2

PatsBill - I will be out of town this weekend. Can you post the mileage and time, please? TIA

Hey everyone! Just checking in with my results for the week:

Miles: 13.65 (including double miles for my race)
Time running: 139.5 mins
Time core: 45 mins
Total time: 184.5

Hope everyone else had a great week. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous here in Philly! I love Spring!

Here are my totals:

Race: 6.22 Miles* 39:48 Minutes
Running: 8.23 Miles 59:23 Minutes
Weight Training: 150 Minutes
Other: 45 Minutes
*2x5K. The doubled total would be 12.44

I have a really good feeling about this week's totals for our team but I have priviliged information so I am cheating a bit by saying that.

First let me say to Ironz: You are doing great and your totals are awesome! I can't wait for the day that you get back from the Ironman and post your totals. I am going to be so excited for you and probably have this one part of me that feels like a failure knowing that I could never do it. Your awesome!!

Now for my totals:

Cancer walk - 5 miles (x2 = 10 miles)
Bike riding - 102 miles
Total miles - 112 miles
Total workout time - 11 hours

Now for the reason why I am excited about this week's totals. A dear friend of mine, fellow teammate Twotoohappy is on vacation in WDW right now and she asked me to post her totals tonight.

Walking / Jogging - 40 miles
Bike Riding - 75 miles
Queen of miles this week with 115 miles (What a dynamo to be able to do this while on vacation and no she didn't include time in the parks!!)

Total workout time - 21 hours

Makes me want to ask when did she rest on her vacation??!!

Everyone is doing great!! I get so excited about being on this team and being able to read and post these totals and numbers. It really makes me want to go back to the gym to get some more miles in. Let's go team!!!:woohoo:

Great job team on all the miles this week!!! :thumbsup2

Weekly totals for me...
15.8 miles and 273 minutes (1 bike, 3 swims, 2 walks)

Reporting in, Captain. I had a 4 mile, 45 minute easy run Tuesday morning and I ran the Country Music 1/2 Marathon this morning (and boy am I feeling it). My time was 2:23:12 which I am very happy with!:cool1: I had 1 hour of cross training as well. So totals with doubling should be 30.2 miles and 4 1/2 hours.

Sorry to be a little late in posting last weeks totals but I've been out of town on business and didn't have my totals with me.
300 minutes
14.8 miles

I am so psyched to be heading to WDW this coming Friday, will be doing my first event ever (the Minnie 15K). Hey, I just realized that the miles for that will count double. Wahoo!

Triple D's Rock!:cheer2: :cheer2:

Good job, everyone!!

If anyone is bored, I just posted RR's from my first two triathlons of the season on the triathlon thread.

3 tri's coming up this month, so lots of extra miles! yay!
Have been on the road this week, so missing my sweet bike.

Did 1:45 of water running last night. How exciting... :lmao:

I think these are my miles/hours for the week.

20 miles / 240 minutes

Everyone is doing great. So since Vic's away does this mean we get to party at his house. :rolleyes1

Bill

Hey Team!

I'm truly amazed at some of the numbers everyone is putting up!

Just a quick post to give last week's totals:

52.68 miles/313 minutes

Also, I just wanted to clarify. Only double race miles, not time? Is that correct?

Take care and everyone have a great week.

Hey everyone! I just have a quick question. Does anyone know why the spreadsheets are so far behind and messed up? It's not just ours but all of the teams seem to be out of order. I was just curious.

TIA!!!
Bryan

Hey Team- I'm posting my hours a little early this week as we leave for DISNEY and the Minnie 15K tomorrow. Other than the race, I'm not sure how much exercising I'll get in, but i'll try to hit the fitness center a couple of times. I know I'll be doing plenty of walking, just not the workout kind.:cool1:
This week I have 365 minutes and 25.5 miles. I'll be thinking of all of you when I'm walking my first 15K. Sharon:cheer2:

Hey Triple D's!

I didn't realize the spreadsheet had one column, covering two weeks (4/18 - 30), for end of April miles and times.

Not sure why that was done, but I will add your miles and times to your current numbers.

:)

Good morning, Triple D's, and happy May. I pretty much missed April entirely -- they say it's the cruelest month and now I understand why. I won't bore you guys with the details as i hate to sound like a drama queen, and frankly it was one of those months where if I typed it all out, you would think I watched too many soap operas . . . I just want to put some of it behind me. New month, new attitude, new beginnings. Though i still have some lingering stress and blues, including the fact that I am not at the final Minnie and will never get my Minnie medal to keep Mickey company. Oh, well, there's more to life than the bling, right?

I have been trying to get in the steps where I could, and will be back later with the breakdown for April (probably just in time to mess up the spreadsheet again).

Welcome to any newcomers I missed, and congrats to everyone on the great job you've been doing.

Erica...hang in there!! Sometimes Life totally happens, and you keep on keepin' on! Thanks for checking in! You just take care of you, and you'll get back on track eventually. hugs!

Big Vic...I see each week on the spreadsheet?? Maybe we just count April through the 25th and the extra rolls into May.

I think I will wait until I actually do my bike ride before I post totals today. :thumbsup2

Had an 'ok' open water swim last night. And good gym work and bike ride during the day yesterday.... But was pretty much a slacker/recovering from travel on Mon-Wed.
Started my 'new' fitness/eating well plan yesterday. I really want to 'lean up'!

Morning team:

After trying to get some stuff straightened out, I did get some work in this week and intend to be more consistant moving forward.

Totals-- walking: 4.2 miles 78 minutes
core/resistance/etc 130 minutes

I guess the premise is to not roll last months miles/times into the new month. I probably doesn't really matter either way.

I'll do it however the team wants it done. I'm easy, but I ain't cheap. ;)

WTG with the training.

Erica - Welcome back!

Just popping in to say Hi & Welcome Back!! to Erica. I'm sorry to hear about the drama and trauma of April.

I'm easy, but I ain't cheap. ;)

That's strange, because I'm cheap but I ain't easy. What does that make me, I wonder? A bargain? A find? A fixer-upper? :confused3 :rotfl2:

I guess my problem is I'm both cheap and easy. At least that's what I figure people meant when they told me "You aint' worth a dime" and called me "simple".

Vic - Here are my totals for the week. I just will keep reporting Friday through Thursday and let you do the fancy math and spreadsheet stuff (unless it would be easier for me to do something different).

Sat - 16.05 miles/148 minute
Mon - 6.19 miles/49 min
Tue - 8.07 miles/62 min
Wed - 8.12 miles/65 min

Weekly Totals - 38.43 miles/324 minutes

That's it for me. Take care everyone.
