Donald's Defiant Dashers Team Challenge

Vic, Sorry for the late update with miles for last week. We were out of town.

Totals: 27.86 miles/454 minutes

This week is taper week prior to my race on Saturday so very little help from me.

Everyone else is doing great though. You guys are VERY impressive.

Hey Team! I just wanted to give you an update on letting you know that I am well on my way to making my goal that I set for this week. I already have 55 miles. Plus, I have surpassed the distance from home to the World. It took 7.5 weeks to do it but it is a wonderful accomplishment for me.

How is everyone else doing? We still have a few members that haven't turned in any time for last week. Your time could put us ahead of OHana. It is VERY close. As of earlier today, I think we were only 40-50 miles behind them. Let's try to finish off the month strong and be the #1 team at the end of the 2nd month.:woohoo: :cheer2: :yay:

Hi, gang!!
I am happy to report that I can now run a little better, after seeing an ART practitioner (Active Release Therapy)! Ran fairly well at my run workout tonight. :goodvibes
Thanks for all the PD and good vibes y'all sent!

and I had my fastest swimming time trial on Sunday! :thumbsup2

Hope everyone is happy and MOVING!!

Betsy - That's wonderful! I'm really happy for you that the ART practitioner made a difference.

That's GREAT news. I know that has been bothering you for several weeks now and really been restricting what you could and could not do. Hopefully, you will be able to get it knowcked out pretty quick and get ready for that Ironman!!

I'm so sorry team - I have been completely MIA for 3 weeks!

I have been running, although on a reduced schedule. Life took over in a big way, and I've been feeling frustrated and unmotivated.

Now I'm back! My schedule is easing up now, and I got some cool new shoes so nothing can stop me now!

So, if it's OK I'm going to give my totals for the last 3 weeks (this week included). Hopefully they can be included with the monthly totals for March.

Week ending 3/13: 90 minutes, 6.5 miles
Week ending 3/20: 80 minutes, 5.8 miles
Week ending 3/27: 85 minutes, 6.3 miles

I'm not caught up on this thread at all, but I hope everyone is doing well! I try to keep up in the next week or 2 so I can see how it's going for you all.

Thanks for being there! I know I can't quit because I've got a team counting on me!

Cap'n Vic- my totals or the week: 530 minutes - 21.3 miles

Dh and I are off to meet with family in Branson, Mo. for the weekend so I probably won't get any hours/miles in the next 3 days. I'll try and catch up later in the week. I'm really looking forward to the weekend since we weren't able to get together with family over Easter. :goodvibes

Team have a great weekend! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Been a little distracted by other events this week in this lovely country. Only 5 miles, 39.1 minutes.

Please be careful while you are there. I know that there is a lot of talk going on right now about you guys and what you are doing over there. I just want to say "Thank You!" for your service!!

My totals for the week:
I made my goal. 126.25 miles and 11 hours for the week.

That gives me 501.25 miles for the week. I am very happy about that. I just hope I can keep going at a good pace and not get interrupted by work. Oh well. It is a long competition so "LET'S GO TEAM!!"

Hey Team!

Great job once again!

I just wanted to post my limited miles for last week.

16.24 miles/231 minutes

Next week I'll get to claim double miles for the National Marathon I ran today :cool1: .

Finished with a clock time of 3:41. Chip time should result in a PR by a few minutes.

Have a good rest of the weekend!

Managed one outdoor day and the rest on the dreadmill for last week. But for next weeks numbers I've had two really good days so that should help :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Last week:

Have a great weekend everyone :wizard:

Mike - Great job!!! :cool1:

Hi, Donald's Defiant Dashers!

My totals for last week:
47.4 miles/ 8:00 hours

Breakdown:
Swim: 1.25 miles / 1:30
Bike: 26.8 miles/ 1:55
Run: 19.35 miles (including double miles for my race on 3/22)/ 3:40
Core/strength: :55

Z...be careful! Thanks!!

I did my triathlon this morning and had a blast, so more double miles for next week to add! (race was .3 mile swim/12.5 mile bike/3.1 mile run).
My hip did not hold up very well, and my run was more limpy than I wanted, and much slower than it should have been. Oh, well. I kicked booty on the bike! :thumbsup2

More travel this week, so I'll do what I can. Too much travel this next month.

Here's my totals. I did 1.5 (15 minutes)miles Friday just to loosen up after being sick most of the week and I ran the Azalea Trail Run Saturday. 10k in 1 hour, 11 minutes so, totals after doubling will be 14.9 miles in 2 hours 37 minutes.

Everyone is doing great! :thumbsup2 Awesome job on the races!!!! :cool1:

This week: 11.5 miles and 105 minutes (bike and walk)
