Renee: Sorry to hear about your Dad. Debbie and I will be thinking about you this week.
Running with your sister should help.
Joe

Renee, I'm so sorry for your loss. Hugs ..hang in there. I'm glad your calf felt ok.

Renee, so sorry to hear about your loss. Sounds like some time with your sister is just what you need.

I'm sorry for your loss. My dad passed away this January, and it was the catalyst for me to start running. I hope you and your sister find strength in each other and in your training.

Rebecca

Oh Renee.. Words can not convey my feelings for you and your loss..

I lost my father a few years ago very suddenly. It is a hole no one can fill.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family..

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad, Renee. We'll all be sending strength to you during this trying week.

Renee, very sorry to hear about your Dad. My condolances to you and your family. Going out for a run with your sister will help.

Saw some of the results for the NY Marathon. Hard to fathom the winning time not that much faster than my half time.

I ran 12 miles again this past Saturday and was so pumped that I had trimmed 5 minutes off my previous time. Then I watched the NYC marathon yesterday and dude finished the full in 15 minutes more than it took me to run 12 miles! Crazy!

Renee,

Very sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my prayers.

Renee - I know there is not much to say during this time except I am so sorry and sad for your loss. Please know you and your family are in my prayers :grouphug:

Ducks,

OK so I have done a few 5ks this year and generally run 2-3 miles about 3 times a week. Is it too late to start training for the Princess?! Should I just wait until the Wine & Dine? I def want to do a Disney Half in 2012! :cool1:

Happy Tuesday everyone!
I really don't like this time change, Debbie and I went for a 3 mile run after work today at the park, it got dark fast. towards the end of the run I almost twisted my ankle on the trail. I quess my outdoor runs are only for the weekends for now.
I just signed us up for 5k during Marathon weekend. Debbie doesn't want to do the half, so this is the comprimise.
We are also signed up for a Turkey Trot 5k on Saturday. The only 5k's I've run are Disney races, so I am looking forward to running the race this weekend to see how fast I can run it.

I was looking on the WDW site and it looks like the Osborne Family lights will be on till January 7th. :thumbsup2
Is anyone up for a Duck meet on Friday night at HS under the lights? We can also continue the tradition of being hurled down an elevator on ToT. :scared1:
Have a good week.

Joe

I know what you mean about the early darkness, I am riding home in the dark now. I am glad i have some decent lights. Good luck with the 5K this weekend, I just did one last week, and had done a duathlon every weekend for the past three. There are a few Turkey trots here on Thanksgiving, just have to choose one.

A few drops down the elevator on Friday sounds good!

I've always wanted to see the Osbourne Family Lights! What time were you thinking we might meet up?

Robin.
It is not to late at all to get prepared for the princess half!
I printed out the Jeff Galoway running schedule and it begins on the 4th of December.

He is also ok with sections on walking through the workout.
I am running the princess.. It would be great if you did too

HS has evening EMH, so anytime is good. Maybe around 6 or 7, watch the dancing lights then a couple of launches down an elevator.:scared1:
Any other thoughts on a meet up?

Joe

7 would be good. I think we're heading to DTD for dinner. When are you guys flying back? I'll be there until Monday afternoon.
