Was wondering about this place. Made an ADR for here but not sure if we are going to keep it or cancel it for our last day. WE have the earliest time 8:00 so I thought about trying it so we could be in the park and get to ride EE right away. We we be done before 9:00am?? Never eaten here before and was wondering too how the breakfast food is and what they serve??? Thanks!! :sunny:

Your reasoning for a PS here was the exact same as my own. And it worked beautifully. We were in one of the first cars for EE on Friday June 9th. Grab a fast past before you board, because the line grows quickly!! The rope is dropped in Dinoland at nine am and as you head to EE, you can view the crowd charging in from the front gate.
The breakfast has a huge focus on the characters. And the wait staff spends alot of time taking photos.
The buffet is typical. Scrambled eggs, a bit runny, bacon, sausage, potatoes, waffles, muffins, danish, hot and cold cereal, fruit.
No eggs or omlets being specially made. Or if so, I missed that.
The setting is a bit rustic for my taste.
My fav breakfast buffet is in the Grand Floridian.
Make sure you arrive a bit early and be one of the first groups seated.

We did this breakfast last year and it was our favorite characater breakfast! (we did Crystal Palace and cape May also) The buffet was pretty yummy and we loved the characters. :thumbsup2

it is one of our favorite. Plenty of good hot food. Character interaction is great. We will be going back 2nd time in Oct.bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb

We ate there a few weeks ago on the last day of our WDW vacation and everything was great. :goodvibes The food was wonderful !! Especially the gravy and biscuits. We also did CM and CP during this trip and I have to say that this was our favorite character dining experience  (with CM a close 2nd). The characters all seemed really friendly and took time at each table to interact with the kids and the servers were so nice and very helpful. It was nice to be in the park before the large crowds started coming in. We will make this a family must do for every trip to WDW. :thumbsup2 :wave2:

I thought that the food was quite good but the character interaction was a bit rushed. We were there in May, and were seated in an addition to the restaurant that looked like a diner. Our server told us to go eat and the characters would be there at the end of meal. As promised, all the characters showed up in our section all at once. All the meet and greets took 5 minutes and it was over. I guess that I am used to other meals were a character comes by, take pics then you eat a little more and another character shows up, ect...Maybe it was just the day or maybe the section of the restaurant we were seated. We still enjoyed it.

We have been there three times. I like the food. The CMs, in general, can get crazy. Our second time there, I spent most of the meal laughing at the CM. Like I said, I like the food. There is enough to pick from. The characters are great, too. I already made the reservation for our next trip. I also got an 8:00 am reservation. I will remember to get to the rope drop for EE by 9:00. We are all excited to go on EE - First Time. I think you will love Donald's Breakfastosaurus. Have fun.

I guess you wanted to know what kind of food - Cold - cereal, pastries, cheese, yogurt, bagels, hard boiled eggs, fruit, cottage cheese. Hot - just about everything - french toast sticks (I think), sausage and bacon, scrambled eggs (I think some kind of mexican scrambled eggs), a breakfast pizza, biscuits and gravy. I am sure I am missing something. There are no made to order eggs. There have to be about ten hot choices.

WE were there on 6/7 and were not impressed. We had 8am ADR and were seated before all the food was set up, only saw our waitress once. Characters were rushed through and not able to come back if you were at the buffet. I will probably not do this breakfast again.

We'll probably do it again, just for the EE head start . . . but I definately don't think the food, atmosphere, character interaction, or service were anything to write home about either of the previous two times we've been there. Both times we had the earliest seating of the day and it seemed very crowded, disorganized, slow, etc. Both times we were not able to go back for more food after our initial trip to the buffet because the lines were totally horrendous.

There is much better food and atmosphere to be found at other character breakfasts - Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare, Cape May Cafe, and Ohana are some of our favorites. But, for the head start to EE (my new favorite ride!) this one is right on the money! Just be ready to get the check, pay, and be out of there a few mintues before park opening - even if you haven't seen all the characters yet!

We usually try for an 8:20 spot. That way the buffet will be ready and we can still see the characters on thier first loop. We have had a great time and were able to spend all the time that we needed with the characters. This is one of our favorite character breakfasts.
