This seemed like the best choice for a character breakfast for DS4. Then, we saw that the character to kid ratio was about 112:1. Has anyone eaten at this one and is it recommended? Do they do anything special or is it too crowded to enjoy? I need some honest feedback----thanks!~~ :earsboy:

We were there last week and it was very crowded. The characters took the time with all the kids, big and small. And the food was good too!!

adults and with the whole family and grandkids too.......and we love this breakfast.......yes all the charactors take time with each family and even with adults. The servers we have had are sooooooo willing to take photos so everyone can be in the picture.....We say go for this one and the food is delicious for all types of eaters...

Count us in as fans of this breakfast. I don't really think it's any more or less special than any of the other character breakfasts. It's a fun time, and we enjoy the food. This is the one restaurant that DS6 has asked to eat at again on our next trip.

We eat there every trip and have never had the problem. Here's our secret: Get a PS for way before the park opens. It will get you past the gate early and you wont have to fight those tight gate crowds. (Dont tell anyone)

Thanks everyone. We feel better about it now and will call immediately to get PS (early!) Thanks--we're looking forward to it! My husband is taking DS there while I take his big sisters to the castle!! Should be great! :earsboy: princess: princess:

two words: Krispy Kreme

::yes:: One of our family favorites

just went there in may...it was just myself and a friend from college, so both 20 years old..we had a blast!! it was a surprise for my friend as she loves donald, and donald spent so much time with her, she was so excited--have a great time!

We love this breakfast! We go every trip since I discovered it on a solo trip awhile back. :)

We have an 8:00 AR on our trip in September. We were planning to drive there instead of taking the character bus from WL. Did any of you drive and have an early AR? Thanks.

we made ar's for it for 9/24 for 8:30am. And then we have ps's at Chef Mickey's at 6pm. My daughter is so excited!!

We went there for the first time last week. We had 8:00 AM PSs. The food was very good and the characters were very accommodating. The service was excellent - we will definately return.

Great breakfast you'll love it .

This was our first ever character meal at WDW so holds fond family memories.

Would do it again.

I would strongly suggest that you don't drive ... not too long ago they were advising everyone with ADR before 9:00 a.m. to ride the busses as you wouldn't be able to park at AK that early.

Hopefully someone else will follow up for me and give exact information. We will have a rental car but will NOT be driving for our 8 am ADR with Donald.

It was a fun breakfast, the waiters were as much fun as the characters, playing gags on the patrons LOL it was a riot - they even scared me with a rubber dinosaur puppet and made everyone chide me for hording the maple syrup (long story - but there was none on our table so I took the big one from the condiment stand and forgot to take it back :rotfl: )

For those of you who had 8:00 ADR's were you finished before the park opened so you could catch the popular attractions right away? My 90 days will be tomorrow for the morning that we had planned to eat here. Just wondering if that is a good idea. I hope to get 8:00. That is the earliest, correct?

I'm wondering how we know when the park opens in Sept. if the times aren't posted yet. I'd like to also do them early, but made them for 9:00 because I wasn't sure what tiime AK opened. Should I change them to 8:00? or ride the Safari, then go have breakfast? HMMMMM.....

I'm not a fan of character meals, and don't schedule them regularly now that my kids are older. Donald's is the one exception...we LOVE this place and try and schedule at least one breakfast there every trip. :) GREAT character interaction and while no fan of buffets, I loved the food here every time we've been (approximately 6 or 7 times)! :)

We have driven from WL. It was the first time we have been at a park when the lot wasn't open, but at 7:30ish they were setting up, moving cash boxes into the booths, etc. We were waiting patiently, but it was fun to watch all the people getting nervous/frustrated because they weren't open yet. So expect a small wait at the booths if you beat the employees there, but have no fear that they'll get you in to the park in plenty of time for your AR. And try not to get out of your car to yell at the CM's while they set up. It will not only distract them, but also would be a very un-pixie-like way to start someone's work day! ;)

Try the French Toast. It's my favorite anywhere, WDW or not.
