On a previous thread, it was mentioned that Donald had been removed from the Wonder during drydock.

We were on the 10/24 Wonder and as we were pulling up to the Port, we noticed that they were replacing Donald on the stern. This one is Donald with paintbrushes and paint buckets. Very cute!!

It was nice to see Donald back in place!!!

I thought the WONDER had Donald painting and the nephews threatening to cut the rope. Are the nephews there now?

Anyone get a picture of it?

Jan,

Here is a picture that we took when we were docked in Nassau.

Looks different to me. No nephews and Donald looks happy not mad or scared. Anyone else think he looked like that before?
I wonder why they changed it.

THANKS for the picture,
Jan

Here's what he looked like in June:

Looks like they're just not finished putting all the pieces back on!

If you will look closely at the picture taken last week, you will notice that the location of the porthole (circle on the stern) for the nephews and the "holes" where Donald's rope fed through are still there. They will probably be added back over the coming weeks as time and weather in port allows.

THANKS for the photos!

Looks like there is no big change, just a repainting of Donald and the possibility for the return of the nephews.

The original does not look like I had thought, so maybe I once saw a mock-up and thought it was original. The pictures of the mock-up of the MAGIC have Goofy different than the actual ship.
