Don Imus Off MSNBC

MSNBC will no longer simulcast the Imus show, effective immediately - breaking news on Tucker Carlson's show right now.

I wonder if he'll be able to hold on to the radio show???

While what he said was stupid, firing is over the top. Knowing that the Rev. J Jackson is refusing to let this die makes it even odder. Here is a guy who blamed his bloodlines for causing him to have an affair and he wants Imus fired for his comments. Somehow, whenever Jesse and the Rev. Al get involved, it speaks loudly of reverse discrimination. Both seem to have an agenda of attacking corporations with deep pockets. If the members of the Rutgers team were listening to the Imus show, then they should be offended. The reality is that none of them actually heard the broadcast while it was live to be insulted by it. This is just a great oportunity for the media to create a lot out of a little. Perhaps Imus will have to shut down his charity and then we will see who has been most impacted by the comments.
