Dolphine Encounter

we are scheduled for the Dolphin encounter on the 19th. Does anyone know how long it takes the water taxi or other taxi to get from the ship to the ferry terminal in Nassau? We are doing it on our own, so we have to pick up a taxi. Do you recommend a car or water taxi and do you know how to contact a limo service if that is better/faster? How long do you usually have to wait to get a taxi? I would greatly appreciate any help with this!! I am trying to plan our days as best as possible without being there. So much to plan, so little time left!!!
