Well - we'll most likely be back at the Dolphin.
My DH loves it. I just called - only ressies 11 months in advance
but Heavely Beds will be there.

The centerpiece of these newly redesigned rooms is Westin’s Heavenly Bed® - featuring a pillow-top mattress, a white goose-down comforter, 250 thread-count sheets, and five overstuffed pillows. You don’t just sleep in it… you lose yourself in it!

Double Beds in the Dolphin.
Queen beds in the Swan.

Maybe we'll do the Swan this time.

I just LOVE the Dolphin but I don't understand for the life of me why in the WORLD they only put double beds in the rooms?????
The Heavenly beds are surely lovely - but why not put queen beds in the rooms? The Dolphin rooms are bigger than the Swan rooms so it can't be because of rooms being too small. I personally am not happy about sleeping in double beds on vacation. I sleep in a King bed with my husband at home - and while we only have a 6 year old now and a sleeper sofa works fine now, the day will come when she will want a bed - and she wiggles too stinking much for me to want to sleep with her - and my ex-football player husband is too big for me to want to sleep in a double bed with him!

Oh well......the view from Room 8029 makes up for any of those little problems......that, and the balcony itself. Ahhhh...dreaming of watching Illuminations out on my balcony right now...I'll have to dig up my pictures.....

As the Dolphin is a Sheraton hotel, how is it that they get the Westin Heavenly Bed? Yes, I know they are both owned by the Starwood group, but are other Sheratons across the US getting the Heavenly Bed?

I just called the Dolphin because the year 2005 for Heavenly beds to arrive at the Dolphin sounded wrong! The dolphin told me renovations will be complete by the first quarter of 2004 including all Heavenly Beds. they are putting heavenly beds in all the rooms as they are renovated. They have 2 floors complete with heavenly beds and completely renovated. We will be at the dolphin in Dec 2003 and expect to have a renovated Jr. Suite with heavenly beds. I was originally told the Dolphin would have Sweet Sleepers, the cousin to the Heavenly Bed but the person I spoke to said they are getting Heavenly beds not Sweet Sleepers.
