Dolphin Renovations - Anyone been in new rooms?

Just booked the Dolphin for December. I heard over the summer they have been renovating parts of the hotel.

I was wondering if they have changed the rooms to be more like the Swan. Specifically those HEAVENLY BEDs.....

Does Anyone Know?

From what I've been reading, the rooms are almost identical to the renovated rooms at the Swan.

We just returned from a renovated room at the Dolphin a few weeks ago. Everything in the room was brand new! The rooms are done in shades of light blue and peach, very attractive.

The beds are out of this world! Here's a photo from our room, #2179:

Does the Dolphin still have double size beds or did they switch to queens?

I just booked the Dolphin for July 2004 and the reservationist told me that the Dolphin will still have double beds but they are large doubles only one inch smaller than the queens at the Swan! Have a Great trip!

I just stayed at the Swan In May for Mothers day ....and I loved it. I got it through Hotwire for 84.00 per nite.

So, I tried for it again for my upcoming dec. trip. and got the Dolphin. I knew they were renovating. I was really hoping they were making it like the swan. I am sooooo happy you sent that picture. IT does look EXACTLY like my room at the swan was.

I am soooooo excited.

Oh yeah.....got the dolphin on hotwire for 111.00 per nite.
