dolphin hotel vs disney properties

Never stayed at the Dolphin Hotel. We have a good rate and am wondering if it's better than staying at a moderate hotel. Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.

IMO, the rooms at the Swan and Dolphin are on par with deluxe resorts. Down side is there is a resort fee added every night that makes any rate not quite as attractive, Magical Express is not included, or if you have a car, parking is an extra charge.

You can't beat the location, and transportation to and from the parks is just like staying at a Disney Resort.

We have stayed at the Dolphin and loved it. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfy and the pool is GREAT! If I got a good rate we would stay there again!
