Which would be better a Dolphin Executive Suite with a bedroom with 2 beds or 2 rooms at the Swan?

We are family of 4 - DD is 20 and DS is 16 so they won't share a bed. So we need 3 beds.

The website says the Dolphin Exec Suite has a king murphy bed in the living area and then the 2 beds in the bedroom. Price $319 / night (before taxes and resort fee)

Swan we could get two rooms.
Standard view $290
Resort view $340
Balcony $370

Any opinions which would be a better option?

I think your family might like the Executive Suite - the main room (they call it a "parlor") has a living room area with a very large flat screen TV, couch (pulls out to a bed as well), a few arm chairs, also a dining table. It has a small counter area with a sink, fridge & coffee maker, but not really a kitchenette as there are no microwaves. So you will actually have 4 beds counting the pull-out sofa.

We've stayed in regular rooms & a 2BR Executive Suite at S/D & the Executive Suite parlor area was HUGE compared to getting a 2nd room.

Was this in the Swan or the Dolphin? According to the website the Swan Exec Suite is quite a bit bigger than the Dolphin.

We had the 2BR Executive Suite at the Swan - here are pics of the parlor room:

Somewhere on the Starwood website there are 360 degree room views of all the suites at both resorts - maybe you can compare size there!

Thanks for the pictures. Interesting - it looks like you had a Murphy bed but the listing of amenities at the Swan don't list that. But the Dolphin does.

There are 360 degree room pics of the Swan but not the Dolphin.

Was the Murphy bed comfortable? I think we might sleep on that and put the kids in the bedroom. Bigger bed for us and more privacy.

Yes we had a Murphy Bed AND I agree - we were told there was NONE in Swan Executive Suites, only in Dolphin ones. So it was a nice surprise. The person that slept on the Muphy bed said it was great, no complaints. It was a king size! We had 5 adults in the 2BR Executive Suite - 2 in each bedroom & one in the parlor on the Murphy bed. We could have comfortably fit a few more in there!

Thanks for the info. Decided to stick with the exec suite. I called back and got a lower rate of $302 with AAA so that is hard to beat.

Would love to see some pictures of the Dolphin Exec suite and find out the locations of them if any one has that info please pass it on.
