Dollars to Euros.....can someone who knows help me?

I am in the USA. Should I purchase Euros here or not? Family/friends keep telling me to wait until I get there because the exchange rate will be MUCH better and then I wont need to carry it all with me. I would use a Bank Paribas which is affiliated with Bank of America so no charge to withdraw my own money from their ATM.....but will it be a pain to do this.....there are no PNB in Disneyland only in Paris and I will only be in Paris 2 of my 5 days.....

Using an example of $1000... I would (at this moment) have an exchange rate here of $1.48...which would give me about 675 Euro. How would I find out what I would get for $1000 in BNP .. without actually calling them which would cost too....

When I went to Paris last time, I didn't have any euros. I made it, but you have to find a place to exchange your money. It can take extra time. I know you can exchange at the airport, and there are places around to do it. I just took money out the ATM or used my card, but I wouldn't suggest that. You don't know the exact amount that you actually took out the bank until you check online or call the bank. I suggest that you do get some euros to start with. Since your a bank of america customer, you can get euros right on there website Products and Services and it comes directly out your bank account. They will mail them to your house and or you can pick them up at the bank. I'm also a customer there, and I asked them about giving my euros back if I didn't them all. They told me that I could return my unused euros for us dollars.

I did't know the BNP bank was associated with Bank of America that's good to know. I saw they have quite a few locations. I will definitely write down the name of the bank and locations.

Thanks for your info..... I am trying to see if I can find out how much $ to Euro BOA/BNP will give me when I withdraw in Paris.... Or if its not that much difference and I should just do it here.

Thank you....BOA is just about the same cost..... It had increased a penny a euro since yesterday. I just completed purchasing what I will need and will report back if I have any extra that I need to sell back to them when our trip is over...
