I checked on the price of a van with no code(by accident) and got a better deal than anything I had found so far. $270.16 tax incl. (a week in march) still hoping for better, but it beats what I had been finding.

March 14 (10am pickup) to 22 (drop off 630pm)
base rate $269.24 with taxes and the other charges $357.30 (normal base rate for the week $203)

Mid size car was the same rate as the van.
A little more than the quote for a midsize car through alamo with discount, but not having to fit a folding bike trailer stroller along with all the luggage for me, DH, DD4 and DS2 (3 on the 22nd of march) well worth it.

I just tried this for my April res., but it didn't work out for me. With no code, a minivan for my dates is over $400/wk. With code OOAG, it's $200/wk.

Actually I used code OOAG and got a better rate than I've been getting with any othr car rental agency. Still, alittle higher than we wnated to pay....$736 (BUT we need it for 10 days, dropping off at a different location than the pick up and need 2 car seats), but better than the $946 I had with Avis. I booked Avis just to have something but knew I would cancel when I found something better.

BTW, what's up with Dollar....I couldn't find any place to add on the 2 car seats when I booked today, so had to call and speak to someone to get them added on .

Anyway, thanks for the code....so far it's the best for me

ETA: just spoke w/ DD (I'm the Nana) and she suggested we bring the booster seats w/ us in a large suitcase. Much better than paying $10/per day each (we need 2). So now our price is $541.....much better.

Went out again this afternoon and the minivan that I booked last night at 357 is now 327.10 total with everything.

All the way up until now, ooag was giving me the best rate too. Then by accident it was better. But my dates are getting closer now(24 days)
