I know we have a Target "dollar" thread already - but, Dollar Tree store have some pretty cool Christmas stuff right now and I thought some people might be interested in some of the dollar deals.
Here's some of the stuff I saw during my last visit on Wednesday:
- giant felt stockings (great for wrapping gifts in. I'm gonna use these for everybody I'm mailing to. I'm going to decorate them with glitter, too;o)
- smaller decorated felt stockings. These would be great for travel if you are going to be on vacation over the holidays and want to take some Christmas with you. I would never put our "real" stockings in my checked bags for fear they would be lost forever. But, temporary ones that are already decorated and only cost $1 each would be perfect!
- Christmas melmac/melamine plates & cups. There are some pretty cute ones. Also good for a special Christmas touch to use for snacks in your hotel room.
- Boxed chocolates - for $1 - my daughter said they were "GOOD"
- Colgate new toothpaste - "paradise" flavor (sample size) - this stuff is perfect "Disney" toothpaste! It is a light purple/glitter looking gel that squeezes out of a "mess free" tube and in the shape of a star (kind of like a pastry bag tip). It has a wierd (but, not unpleasant & very light floral/tropical??) flavor. I highly recommend checking this out - you get a nice sample size that will last 10 days or more - and perfect for a travel size. I think kids would even like this - it has a very mild flavor.
- Large sheet of fuzzy/felt peel & stick Christmas gift "tags"
- Christmas cards - box of 12 (I think) these cards have good designs - not yucky ones you would expect to find at a dollar store for a buck;o)
They had LOTS of Christmas ornaments & several different Christmas dishes. I'm heading back to the store tomorrow for more giant (3 foot-ish) stockings!

Can you imagine? Regardless, I am going to get the gel pens & the stamp if I can find them! She will use them & I think she might even enjoy them!
