Is anyone a member? Does it save much time? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks.

I applied about 4 months ago, but never heard back from Dollar.

In that case, me thinks I should re-apply. I've used them for minvan rentals before.

I used Dollar Fast Lane on my last trip in Nov.2000. It did save only a couple of minutes as there were only a couple other people in the regular line. What Dollar does is have a separate lane for Fast Lane people and you get to go ahead of the people in the "regular" line once there is a Customer Serv Rep available. It didn't appear Fast Lane people had their own exclusive check-in counter, you just jumped ahead of the others. They still went over a bunch of the paperwork stuff with me, even the credit card info, even though they had all that from when I enrolled. Maybe because I always decline any extra insurance??? You then have to go the garage and get your assigned car, just like everyone else. I'm sure if there's alot of people waiting to rent, you could save a good chunk of time. I was really quite pleased with my rental experience with Dollar. Of course, this next time I'm going with National due to my great rate and I don't qualify for EA as I'm only getting a compact. Back to the line!!!

I haven't done it in Orlando yet, but it saved me a huge amount of time when I used in in Denver. I went directly to the bus, the driver called ahead, he dropped me at the car, and n agent came out with the contract. No discussion of anything, and I had declined all the insurance too.

I am a Fastlane person, but haven't seen that it saved me much time. I have tried several times over the last two weeks to book using my fastlane number, but keep finding that the link on the site doesn't work, so I just made ressies through regular track. When I check in, I use the fastlane line, which as said above, allows you to jump before others in line.

Well, last April we used them for a minivan and we saved about 45 minutes. If it's free do it. The regular line was huge and I just walked right up to the ticket counter in the fastlane line. Didn't hurt that I had inlaws with me, to impress:D See I'm not wasting my time here, as some family members think.
