Dollar car rental

Just wonder if anyone's used Dollar car rental before at MCO - if so, did they take any kind of security deposit and how much ?

Sorry can't help with your question, I have always just given them my credit card on collection, they could put a £5k hold on there for all I know, just wanted to say welcome.

They just took a swipe, didn't charge anything, but they probably put a hold on for something??

Have you any idea how much they put a hold on your card for ??

We've already paid our car and all inclusive insurance direct with Dollar, it was all booked and paid months ago - they've now told us that they're going to hold the cost of the car hire again plus 15%. So they're gonna hold nearly $700 on our credit card....(plus we've already paid it in full).....

Was just wondering if you'd come across anything like this.

Sorry, no idea how much the hold was for as we didn't actually get charged anything.

I booked the platinum package with Dollar which covered all the insurance plus free additional drivers. They took my credit card details when we picked the car up but no additional charges were made.
