Doll Question?

Hi all,

I have 'adopted' a 4 year old girl from a gift program at church. Her wish list states that she wants a "New Generation Doll." I have a boy so I am not in tune with girl stuff. When I search on Amazon, walmart, etc. nothing comes up. I wonder if there is a slight error in what they have called it on the sheet. Is there anything out there that is pretty popular that sounds similar? Other items she wanted (which were easy to find) were a doodle bear and Fur Real Friends if this gives you an idea of what she's into...any idea????

Yes, this could be it--it sure is close! Are the dolls available in the store or only online? Roughly how much is just the doll? I take it these are 'fairly' popular? I can always buy one and throw in the gift receipt if it's not right.

They have them both in store and online. There are different dolls and accessories. I think the dolls are $25. They are similar to the American Girl dolls and the accessories fit both so they are pretty popular.

looks like they are about $25. I believe they are Target's version of the American Girl doll. Still nice but much cheaper. I'm not sure how popular they are.. most girls want the AG doll. People often buy the "extras". But that is what came to mind when I saw your question. I wonder if she asked for an AG doll and an adult put something more realistic?

They are very nice though.. I'm sure she'll love it. What a nice thing you're doing. Reminds me we need to go pick a child off the angel tree too.
