Dolewhips?

It was good but not as good as in the MK my daughter said.

I bought it for her on embarkation day and told her she had permission to buy herself another one on the trip and she chose not to even though she loves them in the MK.

The consistency of the dole whip on the ships seems different than at MK...more melty/less structure, if that makes sense. On the plus side, you can get your dole whip with rum on deck.

They use the same powder mix as in the parks. However, the machine they churn it in is not the same and does not get it as cold. Which means the resulting dole whip is not as firm. As others have noted it is softer and melts quicker.

Some people claim a taste difference, but since the ingredients are identical (powder mix + water at a specific ratio) I would argue any taste difference is due to temperature difference, the same way a Coke at just above freezing tastes different than one quite a bit more above freezing (there is a reason taste tests of sodas use ice chilled soda....).

Complete aside, but I was in Niagara-on-the-Lake (yes, we did some wine tastings), and it one of the stores had a sign saying that they sold Dole Whips. Which seems a bit random, but realistically there weren't a whole lot of nondairy/vegan cold treat options there, so I expect that they might do some decent business when it's hot.

The snowball stand near our house now has two flavors of Dole Whips as individual or twist and they change every week. This week was pineapple/raspberry. The twist was awesome  Tastes just like MK.
