Dole Whips at Disneyland?

I never ended up having a Dole whip at Disneyland because I had already bought a couple in Hawaii... the home of "Dole" pineapples. I even had one at the Dole Plantation, where there are LOTS of pineapples, which just kinda made it taste that little more special.;)

After already trying them, I figured I could miss them out and just try other things at Disneyland, like apple pie apples (YUM! but difficult to eat) and soup in a bread bowl (definitely YUMM!! shared this with hubby, but wished I'd had my own), loaded baked potato soup at Carnation Cafe (chatted with the lovely Oscar) and quite a bit more.

I missed the churros, but actually saw a stand selling those recently, so may still get to try one. I also missed Tigger Tails!!! Can't believe I missed those, so I'll have to make sure that is on my list next time.

Oops... went a little off track there. There are a LOT of delicious snacks at Disneyland. But if you want a good coffee... you may want to go somewhere else. jmho

FYI for next time, ask them to cut it for you. They will do that and it's much easier to eat them. Oh man, I love those things...craving one right now along with a Tigger Tail thanks to your post! LOL

I like Dole Whips but they aren't something I have to have every trip....I do enjoy them more if it's hot out or if we are in the Tiki Room. DD12 hates them, but she doesn't like pineapple, DD9 and I share one, DBF gets a Dole Whip Float and we all have a sip or two of his pineapple juice...except DD12. LOL

The Aloha Isle at WDW's Magic Kingdom also offers orange ice cream in addition to the pineapple and vanilla. It sounds like DL's only has pineapple ice cream? We were hoping to try orange ice cream with pineapple juice for our next Dole Whip float.

Actually, the Orange and Vanilla Ice Cream at MK is also Dole Whip. Dole Soft Serve comes in a wide variety of flavours.

However, we only serve Pineapple in Disneyland Park, has something to do with our marketing agreements with the Dole Food Company, I believe.

Next question.... what is a Tigger Tail?
Next question ... why is it so ymmuy?

Do tell:goodvibes

A Tigger Tail is marshmellows on a stick, covered in caramel then covered again with orange chocolate and drizzled with milk chocolate. I am not a fan of orange chocolate so thought I would not like these but I was wrong...they are soooooooooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another snack DD9 and I love to share. :) This is available only in Pooh Corner so head on to the back of Critter Country and get you one, you won't regret it!

I tried a dole whip and was not a huge fan, I didn't hate it, but wouldn't get it again. I liked the Tigger Tails much more! :)

I have never tried the dole whip or tigger tail, but see it is something I may have to try. I always chicken out because of the cost. Maybe this trip.

Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed Dole Whips when I've had them, but having lived in Hawaii for a while I don't really consider them to be much of a big deal when I go to Disneyland.

Time once again for me to drag out the photo that many of you have already seen... DD6 with a Tigger Tail on our first visit to DL, a year ago. YUM! Very rich, though; I usually share them and only have a couple of bites. They make similar treats dipped in dark or milk chocolate, with nuts, etc. But my favorite are the Tigger Tails. :thumbsup2
