dole whip??????

Can someone tell me what a dole whip is?? Is it soft serve ice cream? Is it worth trying?

as a lover of both pinneapple and ice cream, i thought it was disgusting. but that's just one woman's opinion...most people here love it i recall it being soft serve in pinneapple juice, but i only ate about three bites and then chucked it, so i'm sure someone else could tell you more about it

I loved the dole whip float, but it's worth getting some water too at the same time, its very sweet and sticky and does not quench thirst.

You don't have to get the float. You can get a cup of the pineapple soft serve. It is yummy. When I bring guests to MK I always take them for a dole whip. Haven't heard any complaints yet.

Dole Whips are like ice cream but non dairy, at disney that have pinapple ones, but there are places near where I live that actually sell different flavor dole whips(not pinapple, one was I think chocolate). so Dole makes more than just pinapple dole whips.

I finally tried it our last trip at the stand across from the Swiss Family Robinson tree house in MK. ICK!
I did not like it at all. The pineapple flavor was very weak--no kick. I guess I'm glad I tried it because I won't ever regret walking past it without buying one again.

YES!! Dole whips are not ice cream. They are a fat free, dairy free, pineapple frozen dessert. My son has a milk/egg allergy and he loves these at our State Fair every summer. I am hoping that they are the same at WDW!!!

I had the float. I was good, but not as good as the raves I've read. It was also too much, I had to toss it out after eating half of it, because I was full! Maybe if it had been really hot that day, I'd have enjoyed it more!

If you have some one to split it with, give it a try!

I too love the vanilla and dole whip soft serve...my husband loves the float...my son hates both. You can't please everyone!

I am sooooo glad to hear that they are non dairy. I have been hearing about dole whips for a long time and have been tempted to try them but never have because I was afraid of the dairy. Now that I know they are non dairy I can't wait to get one. Hope they live up to what everyone says.

I absolutely love Dole Whips! I think I could live on them. They taste so, so good on a hot day in the parks. But I don't get the float for that reason - it just seems too heavy and syrupy to me. I love just the plain pineapple soft serve. DH thinks even that is too sweet, so he gets the pineapple and vanilla swirled, which he loves.

Can't wait to have several Dole Whips in May!!

Dole whips are a great treat. My first taste of this sweet treat was in Hawaii at the International Marketplace in Wakiki. I loved that is was non-dairy and fat free, because I could order a large one and not feel guilty. When I found out that I could get my favorite Hawaiian treat in the states, I was so happy. I will admit it is sweet and a bottle of water is a MUST have during or after. You have to like pineapple and a fan of soft-serve in order to enjoy this dessert. It is one of my favorites of all time, and its nice to know I dont have to fly all the way to Wakiki to have my favorite treat!
