I soooo feel you on the limbo trip. I have a September trip planned and it will be my boyfriend's first trip to Disney since he was a child and our first real vacation in the 4 years we have been together. However he hurt is knee at work and has been off on disability. We thought he would have been back to work by now but isn't. We don't know when he is going back and if he will be able to get the time off for the trip. We won't know until he goes back. Guess I better purchase trip insurance or cancel by 8/1.

In any case to ease my uncertainty I have been reading trip reports to keep my mind occupied.

I too passed up a free trip to WDW. My best friend won a trip for 4 and is planning on going in Oct. I already had our trip booked and I wanted our first trip together to be alone. I can't believe I passed up a free Disney trip!

Well, here's my first road trip update! I'm on my way to Halifax. We are about 3/4 of the way there now. Have to go to a bridal shower today and then tonight is my flight to Germany! I'm feeling very nervous and I don't know why. Can't settle my stomach or my nerves. Hope that goes away!

I was up at 3:30 this morning, couldn't get back to sleep so I'm trying to stay awake so I might sleep on the plane tonight.

Hi again, this time from Germany! We made it. Yesterday was great, we toured around my friend's village and took it easy. Today I woke up at 7am their time without an alarm, so it looks like I've adjusted to the time zones already. Today we go to Fulda for some shopping!
