Hi everyone! Ugh, just reading about everyone running in the cold temps is making me feel cold. Last year I trained for this race outdoors, and had a really hard time. I sympathize with you all and wish you good luck... be careful in the snow and ice!!
This year, I broke down and got a gym membership to a very nice gym that I actually look forward to going to. At first I didn't want to spend the money, but I am SO GLAD I did. To me, it's like going to the spa.
I've been doing my weekday runs at the gym and my long runs outdoors, but this weekend was my first indoor long run and it was GREAT! 10 miles on the indoor track and it went well. The track is on the 2nd floor with mostly open atrium in the middle and with windows all around, so it's pretty nice.
I am excited... the race is just a month away!! Can't wait to get down to Florida....
