Doing something for us - PTR October 2015

Hey all... I'm new around here but thought I would get in on the Pre-Trip Reports since almost everyone in my family has asked me not to speak about Disney again before September 2015 lol.

My Fiance Martyne and I met online in May 2007. We started dating in August 2007, even though we were long distance. We now live together in Chicagoland and have been together for 7 years.

Neither of us have been to Disney, so we thought this would be something we could do after our very informal marriage next year in August.

ho: Myself and my Fiance(DH by then) Martyne
What: 1st trip to WDW ever; vacation/honeymoon/get away
When: October 24th - 31st, 2015
Where: Disney's Pop Century Resort
Why: To celebrate finally being married in a way neither has experienced before.

Dates? October 24-31, 2015

Resort? Pop Century - 8 days, 7 nights

Park Tickets? Decided on 8-Day Park Hoppers

Disney Dining Plan? Sure, why not? DXP

Memory Maker? Absolutely! Will never go without it again!

Booked Package? Locked in and good to go as of Sept 25th, 2014

Payment Progress? on course and paid as planned thus far.

Scooter Rental? Still searching but leaning towards Buena Vista Scooters.

MNNSHP? Waiting on next year's schedule.

ADRs? On 04/27/15.

Itinerary? I have somewhat of an outline, nothing decided. Martyne says just tell me where to be and when (SMH! haha)

FastPasses? On 8/24/15

Shoes? Um heck I don't know

Packing? Waaaaay too soon!

I'm Alicia - (will be 44) also know as LeeLee to friends or mom to 4 grown kids, also as Nan to the 7 best gifts my children could have given me. I am an accounts manager for a manufacturing company in the NW burbs of Chicago. I like to read, crochet and have just started getting into scrapbooking.

He is Martyne - (just turning 40 @time of trip) He works in I.T. with an Engineering company in the NW burbs of Chicago. He is an avid collector of Transformers, loves video games and typical geeky type stuff.

I have a love of all things Disney especially the children's animated movies. He is a huge fan of Pooh and Tigger.

We have both always wanted to go... now is a good of time as any... can't wait for this trip to get here!!!
