This is my first time doing a 7 day Disney cruise, I could really use your help. I only did one other cruise and that was the 3 day Disney,I have so many questions.
First can I order a appetizer off of the children's menu ,like chicken fingers or something? What is on the children's menu. We are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary so we won't have our kids with us.
Do they do anything special on the night of our anniversary for us?
Can someone give me an idea of our dinning reservations. I hear one night will be at Parrots Cove, Something about a captain dinner. Any information you can give me on this subject will be greatly appreciated.
Do you know how much unlimited Internet access is? This will help keep in touch at home. Can I use AIM?
How much is a refillable soda cup?
I have so many questions. Any advice you can give me would be great. Thanks Brenda, I can't wait!!!!!!!!!

I've never actually done it, but I would think that you could order anything off of the children's menu that you'd like. The waiters are very accommodating, and will do whatever they can to help. I can't see this as being a problem.

If you have a note added to your reservation that your anniversary is during the cruise, I think they bring a cake and sing to you. That's what they do for birthdays.

You rotate through the three restaurants for dinner: Lumière's, Animator's Palate, and Parrot Cay. They each have a different theme. There are two formal nights on the 7-night cruise. One is called a Captain's Gala, I can't remember what they call the other one. The theming changes from time to time. On these nights, everyone dresses formally, regardless of which restaurant they'll be in.

I believe that the unlimited internet access costs around $90 for the length of the cruise. There's also a per-minute charge option, if you don't plan on using the internet that much. Sorry, I don't know too much about this one, I've never used the computers on board. I believe they do have AIM and Yahoo messenger installed, though.

The unlimited soda program costs $5/day (or did list time I checked), so $35 for the entire cruise.

Depending upon eastern or western, one night is the Tropicallfragilistic....aladousus (east) or the Mexicallifragilistic....aladousus (west) where you wear your wildest tropical clothes to dinner. It's a lot of fun.

Ask your waiter the first night to see the childrens menu and they will probably bring it you to every night (if don't ask a second time and for the duration you will get it along with the regular menu - and if you don't - your server ain't up to par).

The dinning rotations are one of these three: LAPLAPL or APLAPLA or PLAPLAP where L = Lumier's, A = Animators Palette and P = Parrot Cay. As you rotate through these restaurants, you will be seated at the same table in each, your tablemates will be the same and most importantly, your serving team will be the same. One night in each restaurant is that restaurants menu. The other 4 nights everyone eats from the same menu. There is the above mentioned tropically/Mexically night, a formal night, a semi-formal night and the small world menu.

There are two seatings for dinner each evening. The early seating at 6pm and the late seating at 8:30. The early seating will have a lot of children in it. You probably won't start in Animators since that is the one with the bulk of the younger children. Most likely you will be starting in Lumiers.

You got questions, we got answers.

what does it mean when they say " tender instead of dock",

champagne brunch, mdoes this cost extra and do you have to have reservations?
How much does it cost to play bingo? Thanks for the sites. I am really enjoying reading all about my cruise. I feel like a little kid on christmas. Thanks again for any help.

Tender means that you will board another smaller boat a ways away from the dock itself and ride in smaller boats across to get to the port. Some places like Belize they cannot dock due to Coral reefs but the ships are so big that they have a company with smaller boats come out and meet the ship and take you to shore. If you dock they pull into a "slip" on a pier and you walk down a ramp from the bottom deck of the ship and out onto solid ground. Hope that makes sense...
