Almost never happened but we actually got some pixie dust from a really nice CM as well which is awesome Stefy can say what happened though as she booked it, not me.

Our Laughing Place transportation wizard says: Walking Time is : 30 mins. and Boat from DHS to Epcot: 37 mins. .... exactly what everyone has said.

I am looking forward to our Poly Appreciation Day, excited to try out the slide and drinks lots of cocktails

Late nights at the parks should be fun, as we have only ever done morning EMH's. Be nice to see the park in the dark, bets it alot more different to during the day

30mins doesn't sound too bad, either way would make for a nice relaxing pace between the parks

How excited are we?!?! I booked Part 3 of 3 of our Disneymoon for next year

Like Dave said it almost never happened, but persistence is the key and it worked out quite nicely

So a few months ago I looked into prices for next year for our Disneymoon. I was scrolling through all the resorts and clicked on AKL, when I saw the price of the Savannah Room I thought why not, would make for a great honeymoon resort right? I scrolled further down a little bit more and saw the price for AKL CL Thats a good as the price was actually quite reasonable and to cap it all off we could get the Ultimate 14 day ticket for the price of a 7 day and there was Free Dining I showed Dave and he said that it was a good price and if I wanted to stay there then we could

We didn't want to book just yet so we decided to leave it for a while as we weren't sure if we would have a Disneymoon what with wedding plans and living plans. But me being me I couldn't help looking it up and a few months later I learned that the CL option had disappeared Now bear in mind we were still contemplating whether or not we could go next year I left it at that thinking that maybe because it was over a year in advance they had just taken it off for now.

Cue another month later and some not fun wedding planning, we decided "sod it, lets have a Disneymoon". So I looked on the website again to see if CL was back up, but it wasn't So I rang the online booking line and spoke to a CM that said that the reason why it wasn't on there was because there were a limited number of rooms etc etc. But she priced it up and found a room, I asked Dave if we could book but he said not yet, so I had to leave it for now

Now time was getting on at this point and I said to Dave, if there are a limited number of units then maybe we should just book it and pay the deposit, worse comes to worse and we have to cancel, that is all we will loose. So after much pestering and badgering he agreed

I rang on Monday to double check there was still availability (as I was going to book it officially today) and the CM said she couldn't find it on her system and that she would try something else, so off she went and came back and said yes there was availability and that she had doubled checked and said that Free Dining was defo included. I said thank you for checking, but I couldn't book just yet (seriously I don't know why I do it to myself when I keep ringing).

Sooooooooo, yesterday I thought to myself seeing as how I had trouble on Monday with the booking that I should just book it as what if it wasn't available when I called on Friday. So I rang at lunchtime all excited about booking, connected with a CM chatting about our Disneymoon plans etc. She came back to me and said there was no availability at all as her system wasn't showing anything. Now this is exactly what the other CM from Monday said, so I said to her that I had got a price back from the other day and that the CM had to go a different route, think it was ringing guest relations to get the price per night. She said sorry we don't do that and I'm afraid there is no availability whatsoever. She didn't even want to try, all the other CM's I had spoken to did. I thought, ok fine not to worry as I am going to ring back again and speak to a different CM who will be more helpful (obviously I didn't say that to her).

So I rang back and spoke to the wonderful Mary who found us a room But...there was a downside...No Free Dining To say I was gutted was an understatement. I said thank you for all her help and that I would have to call back as I would need to speak with Dave if he wanted just a Savannah Room, with FD, or did he want another resort. So we left it at that.

About half hour later I got a call and it was Mary who said that she had been searching other resorts with CL and she said that they did include FD. Bless her she really wanted to help I explained that as much as AKL is a beautiful resort, the only reason it was so appealing was because CL was so reasonable compared to the other CL resorts which were twice the price. I said thank you again and that I will defo call back once we decide if we want the same resort or another.

5mins before the end of work, I got another call from Mary and this time she opened with "I've got some news that is going to make you happy" (me) "Go on..." "I have been speaking with the partners (higher up's I think) and they have said that you can have FD with CL at AKL" OMG I was so ecstatic I couldn't stop saying thank you.

She explained that because we had our heart set on staying here and that it was our Disneymoon she wanted to make that happen and she did. Can you believe our first ever before we have even booked the trip!

She was such a star (which I told her so) that I want to leave more than the generic phone feedback. Dave says I should write a letter and email them too. So am going to get onto that this weekend, need to find out an email address and postal address.

So thats the story behind the new ticker, hopefully we can be lucky with the other 2 parts of the Disneymoon

Yeah it is awesome, when Stef told me we couldn't get free dining for booking CL but could get it for Savannah view which costs less money i started to flip out and couldn't understand how that worked out at all. We are really thankful to that CM for going above and beyond to do something amazing for us and we want her to get the recognition she deserves

I think we are crusing for 3 nights on the 22nd sept and then checking into AK 9/25 - 10/3

The dates are around about that and I am sure I will be corrected, but it looks like we will cross paths one way or another

Yeah it is really nice that she did that, Stef and I never expect any CM to magically upgrade us and especially not just because we are having a Disneymoon. That is why we wanted to just book and pay for AKL CL because we would rather pay for what we want than take a chance at getting an upgrade and not having what we want. If pixie dust does happen then it just makes it all the more special

This is gonna be fun!
