Doin it in Style @ The Poly! September 2010 Here we Come!!!

Day 3 is a shopping day. Why am I not suprised you have whole dedicated to shopping?;) I guess you are heading to the MK in the evening so it isn't the whole day.

Day 3 sounds great!
Glad you were able to change your ADR for the later one!

The only shopping day! But I'm not too fussed as I never get much when we go shopping :( Looking forward to a late night in MK wonder how empty will it be I wonder.

I love, love, love the Beast! :lovestruc My two favorites are the Beast and Lumiere. I wonder why we don't have those here in the states. :sad2:

I'm a little behind (busy weekend).

I'm glad you enjoyed the movie. We still have movie passes from Christmas that we haven't used and we may go the weekend of Mark's surgery if he is up to it so we'll put Sorcerer on the list of possibilities.

Love all the stuff you got at the Disney Store. The Beauty & The Beast items are absolutely adorable.

Your Day 3 plans sound great. I LOVE shopping and you have quite the list of stores there that you want to hit.

And the costumes are great. Mark and I aren't dressing up, but you and Dave will look great in what you picked out (and I like Dave's choice for the 2nd day too).

The whole shopping thing is really for me believe it or nit, I can get 2-3 years worth of clothes for under $200 :) So cheap out there.

I'm a bit nervous about dressing up but if there are enough other people doing it as well then it shouldn't be so bad :)

I think you'll find that there will be a lot of people dressed up!

Just be glad you aren't a member of my family. My kids are all dressing up as the Darling kids from Peter Pan (Wendy, Michael and John.) I'm going as Tinkerbell and my DH has been told he's going as Peter Pan:laughing: He's being a good sport about it, but he has absolutely vetoed the idea of wearing tights:lmao: So be glad you get to be someone tough!

Thought you would like him :teeth: I think stock differs from US to UK, you get cool stuff that we don't get and vice versa. But if you wish hard enough, you never know ;)

Thats cool, I would defo go and see it then, unless you still haven't seen TS3?

Like Dave says the shopping day is mostly for him, but MaM is mostly for me to get some bits that we can't get over here. Well we can they are just extortionately priced!

I am hoping that the store I have found them in will get stock back for my costume soon, otherwise I might have to order it from the US. But I really want to do the PoP costumes, not so sure about dressing up again for the second party now though.

Aww sounds awesome, can't wait to see pics :) Bless DH, I'm with him on the tights thing though

Now that's shopping I would take time for! Not George's maybe bargain hunting on the strip shopping. I'm a little low on my Coco Chanel eau de parfum.... :rolleyes1

Love your costume choices.... it's funny, I really think Aladdin and Jasmine would be great fits for you too. Just saying' ;)

Not sure how Dave would feel about wearing Aladdin's costume

I found a US website that I am gonna order mine from and they have a replica dagger for Dastan and a replica Sands of Time necklace for Tamina, just waiting for them to get stock now. We'll get Dave's from over here as it is in stock online.

stopping in to say hello! seems as though we may be meeting next September!! Woot, I love Dis meets!

Day 4 - Sunday 3rd September

Next up is Day 4 and its a nice relaxing day as we will be mostly frequenting this place

Breakfast this morning will be with this guy

Then after that I guess we will take some pictures of the resort and explore. Lounge by the pool, catch some rays, drink lots of these

Before heading to dinner at

As we are doing the Halloween Party twice we had to rearrange a few things to make it work out and one of them was to change our date to catch

Fantasmmic.jpg

Luckily enough this is showing that day (fingers crossed the weather holds and it doesn't get cancelled) and its EMH PM at DHS, so we'll catch the show and then play a little in the dark, bet its fun to ride ToT at night, also get some PP pics in front of the hat all lit up :teeth:

So that's Day 4, what do you think? Too relaxed?

Oooh one question I have, what is the easiest/quickest way to get to DHS from WS?

That looks like a fabulous day! Not too relaxed at all just lots of fun! The best way to get from WS to DHS is to take the boat from the International Gateway. Or if you feel like walking off dinner you could walk. The path goes via the boardwalk. (Do a search and hopefully you can find one of Robo's maps.) Either way would take somewhere between 20-30 minutes.

Thanx, hopefully we can keep it relaxed as knowing me I will get antsy and want to go to MK or Epcot, or even another resort  But we should try some pool time as we have never done that on our trips.

Thanx for the info on WS to DHS :goodvibes Walking sounds like it would be cool as we could take some pics along the way, but then the boat does sound appealing too. Decisions decisions :scratchin

That sounds like a good day plan! I'm hoping for honeymoon that we have some days like that, spend all day around the pool then head out in the evenings!

For WS to DHS... it'll probably take you 25-30 mins to walk (out at International Gateway, walk around the Boardwalk and then take the path along the waterway to DHS), but if you don't feel like walking there's a Friend Ship boat dock outside IG - the boat will stop at Boarwalk, Yacht&Beach Club, Swan & Dolphin, then on to the Studios :wizard:

Emma princess: x

ps - about dressing up for MNSSHP, I would definitely do it! DF and I didn't go to the party in Oct'08 (I thought it would be 'too Disney' for him, then when we got there he asked why we'd not got tickets!?) but we saw lots of people on their way to the parties & in MK one afternoon, all in fantastic costumes!

You try and get some resort days in if you can. We normally wouldn't do them, but as we are staying at the Poly for the first time we want to take it all in and really appreciate being there :)

Thanx for the info on the route from WS to DHS, have to see what Dave prefers walking or boat, but then I guess it depends on how you feel on the day :)

I was finding it difficult to find my costume anywhere, but I have found a seller on eBay that has them in stock so am gonna get that as soon as me thinks. I also found these which will be perfect

Am quite excited to see how they turn out :teeth:
