Doin it in Style @ The Poly! September 2010 Here we Come!!!

There is no bus transportation from the MK resorts to the MK. You have to use the monorail or boat transportation or in the case of the Contemporary you can walk. The monorail is actually better than buses IMO. They are much more predictable and the line for the resort monorail is usually shorter than the one back to the TTC. And Boardwalk resorts don't actually provide any transportation to Epcot. You have to use your own 2 feet. (Well technically there is the boat, but that takes longer than your own 2 feet.)

I'm not sure about buses between DTD and the TTC, but you'll be at the Poly so you can just catch the DTD bus there. Or if you want to go to DTD from the MK just walk over to the Contemporary and catch their bus. If you want to go to DTD from Epcot just walk over to Beach Club and catch the bus there.

I think we prefer that version because it is themed so much better and isnt single file either. Also the effect of being blasted up in the ait with smoke etc visible to the people outside just adds to the experience.

Do you have photos of that? Would love to see.... sounds awesome.

Love the DLP pics shown so far!

Stefy has been looking into a 40% off deal at DLP for November and if all goes well, we shall take a 2night 3day visit to the Disney Land Hotel!!:cool1:

I love your DLP pics! :thumbsup2

Thanx, more to come soon :)

Thanx for that info. Suppose it makes sense that there are no buses to MK in the MK resorts, apart from WL and FW I am thinking.

I don't think we do have photos, but I will check and post if we do.

Would be nice to go to DLP after our WDW trip, esp when its nearing to Christmas. Only prob is the offer we have is only available til 30th April, so we have to make our minds up soon if we want to book.

Hi Stefy!

Finally caught up again! Sorry - looooooooooooong workweek - NO fun! ;)

Sorry to say, but there IS NO bus between the Monorail resorts and the MK - you need to either take the Monorail or water transport (but the Resort Monorail does usually not have as long a line as the Express one!) That's why we LOVE the Contemporary so much, you can just walk to the MK!

And I hope you don't mind, but I DO have a few pix of DLRP's Space Mountain!

Thanx for posting the SM pics Karin :goodvibes Do you know I can't even remember what it looked like. But I do remember the walls separating when ready for take off and all that smoke.

Thought you'd like them. Believe it or not we haven't even eaten them yet

The Sleeping Beauty Pin is a 6 part Sword Series, that one was just released today and they will release the others every two weeks. They have Hercules, Sword in the Stone, Mulan, The Black Cauldron and Aladdin.

THANK YOU! That looks crazy fun! I assumed the two rides were the same!

It's nuts...... I love cupcakes, I drool everytime I see your yummy selections and there is a specialty cupcake bakery not five minutes away from my home.... but I haven't been! :sad2: On some level, that's probably a good thing..... :rolleyes1

Those pins are very nice ones... was that a mischevious blue clawed paw I saw sticking out from behind Prince Philip?

Well spotted! I sort of collect Stitch pins. Haven't got hundreds but I probably have around 30 or so. Haven't got any complete sets but I have ones like stitch dressed as the emperor from star wars & Barbosa from POTC :) I am looking forward to getting some more when we get to the world. Maybe there will be some rarer ones for sale.

I like the idea of collecting one particular character in different settings, costumes... that kind of thing like your Stitch ones. I have no idea which character I'd choose...?? :confused3 I'll have to cruise what's out there and pick one!

Maybe go for a rarer character? Depends what you like. There are lots of stitch invading rides etc. Why not collect the best character there is ;)

Mmm those cupcakes look good.. I'm baking two dozen this afternoon to take into work tomorrow.. every two weeks my new department has a 'cake off' where two of us have to bake something - everyone tries both then votes for their favourite!! :thumbsup2

Speaking of nice handbags and your recent thoughts on DCL as part of your honeymoon...

Its hard not to stop by Lola's whenever we are in Oxford St, it's like it would be a crime not to get one of those delicious cupcakes.

Dave is more of a collector than a trader.

Designer bags are definitely an investment piece ;)

Krispy Kremes are good. I think Gatwick might have one, you would be better off getting some for the plane there, more fresher :)

I hope that flights can resume as normal soon. I really feel for all those stranded people.
