Cafe Mickey's was alot of fun. We ate here quite alot. These guys did their rounds, but kept coming back to our table and goofing around. I remember Baloo tried to eat our food, Hook kept poking Dave in the back and Gepetto and Smee were just up to no good.

They would also do a dance every hour and Mickey and Minnie were quite entertaining, Minnie even did a running jump to Mickey.

and that's it. Hopefully we can get some new up to date photos this year. But we shall see

yeah, those pumpkin men were quite weird. There was some weird face off between them and these funky looking witches, was funny to watch pre parade.

I love your pictures. I agree that the pumpkin guy was creepy though. The first thing I thought of when I saw the picture was that the two of you are much more brave than I would have been. I think I would have taken off running as far from them as my feet could take me.

Ok, others have said this already, but that pumpkin is just freaky And what were those skeletal witches? Kinda morbid for Disney!

I love those characters at Cafe Mickey... Baloo! Hook and Smee and Gepetto?! Genie and the King guy from Robin Hood... oh what's his name again?

Minnie was quite playful sitting on Soopafly's lap eh?

I'm leaning towards Malificent for pin collecting. Gotta give some love to the Villans.

Oh my gosh I just LOVE those DLRP photos! They bring back SO many memories - !
I just love Halloween and Christmas at DLRP - unfortunately they didn't do fireworks for the party last year !
When did you visit for Halloween? Any plans on going for Halloween this year? So far we have NOT made plans yet, but I could be tempted going in early December!

Good luck with your cake off, what kind of cupcakes you doing? Any specific designs?

I've made two dozen vanilla sponge cupcakes with yellow frosting, mini marshmallows & edible glitter ... very pleased with them!
'unfortunately', not all of the cakes would fit in the box I'm taking them to work in - so my official taste-tester (DF!) has had to try one or two for me!


Btw I really like the idea of just collecting one character for Disney pins!
I'm a collector rather than a trader too lol - I just can't get my head around giving away a pin that I bought myself, because I liked it? hehe.
I only really started buying them last summer when the UK Disney Stores started selling them - my lanyard is filling up quickly though!

I love all the DLP pictures! I really loved that Alice in Wonderland maze. It would be fun if they brought something like that to Florida! And it looks like you had fabulous time at Cafe Mickey's!

They did go all out for Halloween, was lots of fun. Not sure what its like now for Halloween though.

We visited in 2005. We want to go back in November for Christmas, but have to wait and see. There is an offer on at the mo, but you have to book by end of April.

The Maze was pretty cool, but very busy. Think there was a castle as well you could walk up.

Yeah there was a castle you could walk around but it wasn't all that really. I also remember the red queen being in the maze as well as some kind of animatronic. Oh and then there was the caterpillar blowing smoke as well

I know DLP has changed alot in 5 years which is why I am eager to go back, see all of those changes. I understand it is quite old school Disney like California. I purchased The Brit's Guide to DLP on Friday and it should be arriving here today

Also, When Minnie jumped on my lap for the photo I heard a girly giggle so I was quite relieved, don't know how I would have reacted if a dude had just jumped on me I don't think Minnie would get away with that in Florida though lol.

So I just found out you visited in 2005! Yes, the park HAS changed A LOT since then!
They still have a lot of pumpkins around, just not that much and the giant one in the middle had to go because of the stage they built there.
So you have not been on ToT or Crush in the Walt Disney Studios? It is lots of fun riding these! And the Stitch encounter - oh my - get your bags ready and go as he IS hilarious!!!!!!!
