Doin it in Style @ The Poly! September 2010 Here we Come!!!

My DS7 loved Dumbo when he was 2 years old. He would watch that film over and over, but he always made me skip "the rain part" at the beginning. He thought it was too scary. Oh the memories:goodvibes Oh and cute charms.

Just spent the past 3-4 hours trying to get these days sorted but it's so hard this year for some reason. I think we are almost there but will have to see over the next day or two. Taking a break until tomorrow as it's driving us mad!

I hear ya! Sometimes you gotta sleep on it and look at it again the next day with a fresh mind and it will all fall into place.

I just get a general idea of where we want to go, making sure there's room for everything, then use that to plan our ADRs. Once those are in place, then I can further plan the days and sometimes we go leaving some days with a variety of options.

Good luck! :thumbsup2

I know EXACTLY how you feel! I think this trip is so crucial for us because we won't be going to WDW next year, we are skipping a year to go somewhere else for our big trip. :) I feel like this has to be a great trip and try to fit in as much as possible without getting too exhausted-and that's hard to do!

Tomorrow I plan on taking a closer look and making our final decisions as we make ADR's a week from tomorrow!! :)

Good luck with getting everything figured out, I know you'll be fine and make great choices! :)

Very cute!!!! :thumbsup2

Cute charms! :cutie:

Thanx ladies, they are v cute :cutie:

I remember the rain part when I was younger and it was kinda scary, think it was the "wind" noise as well that didn't help.

It was not fun :sad2: Felt like I was going :upsidedow

I think thats what we started off trying to do, but then because there are so many party dates in October and also only 3 showings of Fantasmic, it started to get a bit complicated and I think the dessert party has thrown us a bit out of whack, but we are working on it. Persistence is the key :wizard:

We are sort of similar, but I think we got this trip backwards. If we get married next year I was hoping we could do a Disneymoon & Cruise, so in theory what we are doing this year we should have saved for the honeymoon as it would have been like our last hurrah with Disney for a little while so we could travel to other countries.

Thank you for the kind words, hopefully we can get something down as a rough draft and then you guys can tell us what you think :goodvibes

:cheer2: :dance3: Woo Hoo :dance3: :cheer2:

We are finally done with our planning and have planned all the days and ADR's. I am going to post them tomorrow as we have done it in Word format, so I need to print it out to use as a guide. I am so glad its done though and we feel so much better now

Can't wait to share with you guys :yay:

Have a great evening, off to go enjoy the rest of mine before bed.

Ciao for now

Yeah it feels good to have it all mapped out. From the looks of it, there will be lots and lots of food consumed on this trip. We actually have some credits spare but I am sure we will find use for them. Also we have changed some of the restaurants as well :)

Excellent! So glad you finally got it all worked out. :thumbsup2

Thanx :goodvibes Hopefully we can just stick to what we have mapped out. But you never know.

There are a couple that we added, but I think we are not doing one restaurant that we had originally planned to do.

Very cute Easter charms! I can't wait to see what you've planned out. :yay:popcorn::

Thank you :goodvibes All will be revealed soon :yay:

Congrats! :cheer2: It always feels great to have your plans done and know which ADRs you want! We haven't made any park day plans yet for our September trip, but I have all the hours and our ADRs in my handy planning spreadsheet, and even that feels good. It's hard enough planning days and ADRs for one week - that's quite the accomplishment that you've done two!

Question for you on planning the days - do you know of any days of the week that are better to go to Universal/ Islands of Adventure than others? We want to go one day of our September trip to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, but haven't been in years (went probably 15 years ago with our parents when we had no part in planning the trip ).

:woohoo:for getting the list finalised

:happytv: and eagerly tuning in tomorro to see what you've decided!!! I only have 7 ADR's but trying to get them booked in around wishes, fantasmic, meeting friends, park hours etc was definitely an exciting/anxious experience...

Aww thanx for waiting patiently :goodvibes I forgot, at the time, that I was going out last night for my bosses birthday, so have done no Dising at all since yesterday morning. I might try and post our first two days and go from there :thumbsup2

Thank you :goodvibes It does feel good doesn't it to have it down and ready to go, fingers crossed it can stay unchanged come Friday when we book our ADR's.

With regards to your question, I myself think that mid week would be a good time to go if not Monday (thats Dave's theory for Monday). Most people tend to start their vacation at the weekend and hit Disney first, so Monday might be an MK day for instance, they might not visit US/IoA until after they have done all the parks in Disney first.

I think we went on a Wednesday on our 2008 trip and it was empty in US in the morning and nearly empty, but still lovely, in the afternoon at IoA. We are going to aim for a Wednesday this year, if not Tuesday.

But I am going with the mindset that it will be busier than normal because of Harry Potter, so my theory may get blown out the window.

I hope that helps :goodvibes

Ok so I just realised that whilst typing this and doing other bits, I have run out of time to post the first two days, not to mention I left my print out upstairs.

Guess you guys will just have to wait a lil bit longer. Sorry :goodvibes

I may have to steal her away from the laptop tonight to look after me, i am not well. Suffering with Man Flu........very serious condition

Oh my! I hope you get better real soon! But I am sure you'll have the best nurse ever! :flower3:

She is very good at looking after me

Think I am getting / got flu but just not feeling the full force of it yet. Thanks for the well wishes though :)

We will need everyones help with placing a final reservation - lunch at Sannah (doubt i spelt that right) as Stefy still wants to do it and I dont know how to fit it in......I will let her explain once everything is posted though.
