Doin it in Style @ The Poly! September 2010 Here we Come!!!

Haha well fingers crossed for you then. I think I will see if we can time it as well, that way we can watch wishes from cali, narcoosees, poly beach and halloween party :cool1: To make up for never seeing it on our previous trips.

You have NOT seen it yet????????? :scared1: Then you definitely have to time it right!!!
We just LOVE fireworks and I make it a point we at least see it once or twice a week while we are there! :cloud9:

Well for some reaso or another we just never staked out a spot or were already in other restaurants whenever they were on etc but we will def do it this year. Hopefully the first night on the poly beach with some drinks that i will be tasting and making sure are safe for everyone else to try ;)

May I suggest a Backscratcher or Lapu Lapu ........... ;)

Backscratcher is on my must do list of beverages. I shall leave the lapu lapu to Stefy as I had some if hers before and it was a bit to sweet for me.....and I couldn't believe how strong it was lol. This is the worst part of waiting IMO, wanting to try so many things and having to wait ages for it.

That was an awesome deal on the movies!
How recently was Dumbo released on DVD? I love that movie, though I might not be able to watch it because it makes me cry. Even the song 'Baby Mine' makes me cry. And I am not usually emotional about movies!

Good luck with your ADRs! I've ignored mine since making them, so I don't start shifting things around and making myself nuts. I hope you guys get everything you want!

I remember not being that big a fan of Dumbo when I was younger, but I love it now. I love the Casey Jr song and always shout out to Dave theres Casey when the Castle shows up at the beginning of every Disney Movie

I hope we can get what we want ADR wise, just really really wish they would release the hours already. Sorry, I know broken record, but still.

I cant wait for The Lion King on blu ray but i've heard rumours that it wont release until Oct 2011 :sad1:

I wish they would release it now too, but we do have some great Classics being rereleased again this year, Beauty and the Beast, Fantasia and Finding Nemo.

I am here!! Subscribing so I can go back and read!! :goodvibes:goodvibes

Yay you made it :yay: :welcome: to the madness that is us planning this trip

Hi guys - thank you for posting about the BoGoF Disney DVDs & Blu-rays.. I'm planning to buy Dumbo Blu-ray (already have it on regular dvd but it's one of my faves!!) and 101 Dalmations dvd... also, Who Framed Roger Rabbit is only £2.99 !! :cool1:

Your Welcome, its such a rare offer that I just had to post and tell my fellow Disers :)

It's been a little while back, I think it was in 2008! We had a reservation about an hour before Wishes and first had to wait for about half an hour until we were seated. Then our main courses were put on the table just when they dimmed the lights - the filets were cooked all different ways, just not the way we had ordered them and were just lukewarm and the lobster tail was tough and chewy - didn't like it at all. We could not even complain, as our waiter disappeared for about 40 minutes!!! :scared1:

Then I got burnt Creme Brulee and Tom had the ice-cream sampler and two flavours tasted really off (one tasting of barbeque spice) :sad2:
We vowed NEVER to go back - two years on we are giving it a second try - we HOPE so MUCH this was just an off night and that we might get to see Wishes after all. (Couldn't see them the first time as we were seated in an elevated part of the restaurant and all we could see was part of the castle! :sad1:

Oh goodness that was not a happy meal for you guys. Am sorry it was so bad :( I hope the second time around is miles better for you guys :goodvibes

:yay: WOO HOO!!! :yay:

Just seen the news update on the homepage and it looks like they have restarted the Wishes Dessert Party and there doesn't seem to be an end date in site. Am so hoping that it goes on in September and October.

How would one go about booking this? Do you think I should call Disney tomorrow and enquire about it, or should I go through to the US Disney?

I have been promising an update for ages and am slowly getting there. Work has been so hectic these past few days, all I want to do is just crash the minute I get in the door.

Anywho, on to the reveal. I was browsing the net the other day and came across two small bargains and just had to snap them up

Yay!! :woohoo: I would phone WDW... I love phoning Disney and speaking to a CM.. any excuse is good enough for me!! ;)

If you do need to ring 407-WDW-dine or 407-W-Disney ... I phone 08448 610 610 before, that way it only costs 1p per minute from the UK :thumbsup2

Those dessert parties were really popular last year, sure they'll keep them going this year too! :wizard:

ps - love the tshirts!!
Have you seen these ones on Amazon uk.. £6 each! http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B003A42YDY/ref=ord_cart_shr

Thanx :goodvibes Will try out that number tomorrow. I know I am most probably ringing waaaaaaaay too early, but like you said they were really popular last year that if you want a September ressie you should book now to gurantee a place

Are those sequins on Minnie's bow and shoes?!? LOVE it! For sure I'd try booking the Wishes Dessert Party..... you can never be too early for anything Disney :wizard:

I'd definitely call about the dessert party now too. I'm guessing you can book 180 days out. I love the new shirts, especially the one with the Eifel Tower! Too cute. Definintely wear that one on an Epcot day!

I would LOVE to do the Wishes dessert party! I may have to look into it now...

Let me know how the booking goes b/c I will ask about it when I call to make my ADR's soon! (I am going to be on the phone and computer b/c I NEED certain ressie's. Don't we all thought??? :rotfl2:

Wahoo! Joining in. BTW, I love all your Disney shirts! I bought Disney T-shirts for everyday that I was in a park and I bought a zip up hoodie with Mickey and Minnie on it at H&M. I just have to be themed at WDW ;)

Can't wait for more.

Ooh if it is 180 days out then that is fast approaching for us. I am still going to ring today though and see what they say about future dates for Summer.

Thanx, its really cute and good idea to wear it to Epcot :thumbsup2

Yay, you made it over.

:welcome: and thanx for joining in.

Thank you, I have amassed quite the collection so far and am still planning on getting more before we leave :teeth: I think I might be like you this year and just be themed in what I wear. As I was thinking this morning, at this rate I will have a t shirt for every day we are at Disney. But I still think I might pack some odd vest/tank tops here and there.

Stay tuned, I keep promising my Must Do List for MK :goodvibes Will get there eventually

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Woo Hoo :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Yay the hours are up for October :dance3: Wonder if they are still updating as they go along though, as when I look at the Epcot hours there is no time shown for Illuminations and it doesn't specify WS or FW times :confused3 But still I'm happy they are up and we can finally start planning pixiedust:

I rang through to Dining not long ago and whilst they are aware and informing that the Wishes Dessert Party is coming back, there is nothing on their system right now for them to start booking, but it should be very soon :teeth:

Yay for October hours being up before you need to make ADRs! :woohoo: I just read in the concierge/ club level thread over on the resorts board that one of the CMs trying to book Wishes dessert parties for CL guests said the booking might open up on the 28th, so it might be worth a try to check back then.

I know, I was at work when I got an email for one of the threads I am subscribed to and it said that the hours were up. So I rang DF and said check out the US site and see if the hours are up (couldn't do it myself as the boss was in and I can't surf at work when he is there).

We are gonna wait til the weekend before we start planning and allocating days and restaurants etc. Gonna wait and see if they put down the times for Illuminations etc.

I'm glad you posted about the October hours. We're still planning our Halloween trip and the hours confirm they are having the MNSSHP on Oct. 29 which is when we're planning on going:woohoo:
