Dogs should be for people who live out in the country ONLY

::yes::

MUCH better, btw!! :)

My dog would not know what to do out in the country. He's definitely a city dog and a couch potato at times. Gee, that probably even makes him worse since he climbs on the furniture, huh? We always had big dogs when I was growing up (Dobermans and American Staffordshire Terriors and such) and yes, when they barked they could be loud but they were also the best friend a kid could've asked for, loving and protective. Dogs belong anywhere they have people who love them.

TROLLS however belong under bridges! Or at least that's what the books we read in school always said.

Gee, I guess I'm in the minority since I kind of agree with the OP.
Not that dogs should only live in the country, but the part about the barking. I HATE dogs that bark constantly. When we go to visit my aunt and uncle their dog (a small one, not sure of the breed but it has a lot of long hair) barks a lot and it is very high pitched and shrill, hurts the ears. They tell it to be quiet but it never is. Very hard to enjoy the visit with the dog yapping all the time. And I hate going camping in the summer and be next to someone with a dog that barks a lot, or worse when people leave their campsite and their dog barks continually while they're gone. Dogs can be trained not to bark constantly, it's only the poorly trained (or not trained at all) dogs who do that, and it's very selfish of their owners not to consider their neighbors and just allow the dog to continue barking.

How do you stop a dog from barking? Never heard of one that really worked.
