Dogs should be for people who live out in the country ONLY

Well, I'd much rather talk about my kids, but...

My dogs bark A LOT! And it is so cute. The love to run to the doors and windows and bark at anything that goes by our house. Then they go outside to poop. Sometimes I take them for walks and let them poop on the lawns of our troll-ish neighbors. It's so adorable! Almost as adorable as my children. Did I ever mention my children?

We like to take our children to Orlando. We stay in motels--with our yapping dogs, of course. Sometimes they pee and poop in the hotel room. But that's okay, because we paid for the room, and besides, they really are sweet little things.

When my darling children start to get bored in the hotel rooms, they like to jump up and down on the beds and yell as loud as they can. I don't mind, because it lets them get the steam out. Sometimes the dogs like to bark along with them.

Gosh, am so blessed. Life is good. :D

Yes, dogs should only be for people who live out in the country....
......these aren't the droids you are looking for......move along.....

I think someone thinks they have "the force".

:teeth:

Well don't come near my house with my 5 barking dogs, 14 chirping parakeets, 1 squawking cockatiel and 5 blubbing fish then

I am, however, in favor of having all annoying and/or miserable people rounded up and forced to live on some deserted island somewhere

Oh ya...

My dog rarely barks, so you might like her Chubroach. On the other hand, maybe not, she kills bugs.

i try very hard to stay out of these controversial threads. However this one has me seeing RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have three dachshunds who just bark by nature.

Perhaps the OP should be the one looking for a country home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bark, Bark, Bark, Bark

That is what I heard coming from the next motel room, during a recent trip to Orlando and Disney. Dogs are everywhere including motels now!

That is all I hear also from the direction of the neighbors house. We live in the typical suburban Maryland neighborhood of 4 houses per acre, so there is limited room for anyone. It is just amazing to me how many people on the street have dogs. They seem to rarely get much excercise and when they do get out they just bark and poop.

I think dogs are great if they are on a farm or house with lots of woods and field for them to play, not in packed neighborhoods where they get restless and bark all day and night. Does anyone else feel like I do?

What hotel were you staying in that accepted pets? I can't imagine how lovely that place must have been.

Is there anything about your life that makes you happy?

I know the Hard Rock hotel allows dogs. I didn't realize it until we checked in though. The hotel is beautiful but the constant yapping of dogs was horrible.

I will agree that a dog that barks a lot can be annoying, especially if they are left outside a lot. But I would rather listen to an occasional barking dog than the sound of my neighbors lawn mower every other night. He likes to mulch the clippings into his lawn but does not like to have it sit on top, so he cuts it every other day. Drives me crazy. Guess he has a lot of time on his hands. If you don't like kids, dogs or people, don't live in a neighborhood with 4 houses to an acre. It is that simple.

Bichon Barb -- your post here has me laughing my head off! Good one!

You'd hate my dog, Chubroach. He's big and has a deep and LOUD bark. This neighborhood would do you in--loads of dogs and children.

Better not complain too much about your home in MD, because believe me--you could do worse.

My dog won't know what to do in the country. I adopted my Sheltie, so I didn't teach him to love shoe-shopping in Bloomingdale. But he's my perfect match. He got too bored when he goes to his grandma house in the burbs.

:)

Growing up, we always had Dobermans, and we lived in a residental area. Guess we should have lived in the country.
