because i do, but ive never met ANYONE else (except the breeder we got her from)

We did - Suzy...she was actually from one of the first sharpei's brought to the US. She passed away about 10 years ago...we only knew the breeder and a couple of her brother and sisters owners too!!!

Yes, its a Neapolitan Mastiff, Yes it drools, Yes it eats alot and NO its not a Shar-Pei!

We have one in our neighborhood and I love visiting her.

My Dsis in New Mexico has one. Rosie. She has had a lot of health problems and is not blind. She is a sweetie but when she was younger like to give you kisses....we called her "plunger lips" cause, well, you know.

I know someone with 2. One is solid black (can't remember her name) and the other is red/white (O'Reilly. A bit unstable in my opinion. Skittish around strangers.). They're in GA.

We have friends that have a whole bunch of them (maybe 4 or 5). The ones they have seem really big and they are a brush coat (i think that's what he calls them). The one I loved, Magilla, passed away. The other ones are okay but since we have a little one and they aren't used to kids, they always gate them from us.
They do have one that's absolutely beautiful. She is a gorgeous apricot color. They breed her and the pups sell for somewhere around $2000.

yeah rumples a brush coat. shes smaller than most because shes a "mini" shes the runt of 2 runts. her parents were both show dogs.

Are there many different types of Shar Peis? Do some have no wrinkle? This is what I always associated them to look like. Your dogs are beautiful, love the masked face.

as they get older they loose their wrinkles.
kinda funny. its totally oppisite than humans.
but they do keep thier face ones.

The picture you posted looks just like baby---Wiggles!! He is my 2nd SharPei. My 1st one was an Apricot colored female and she died a couple years ago. SharPei are like potato chips once you have one you really think that you can't stop with just one Both of mine have been borderline mini; meaning I could show them in the ring as a standard but once they are grown they do look small compared to the standard size! They come in horse coat, brush coat and bear coat----my favorite is brush coat. They 2 muzzle types: meat mouth and bone nose----meat mouth is gorgeous and that is what both of mine have had. They are great with my children and are very sweet and loving!! Very intelligent but strong willed
