I have no problem bathing and brushing out my standard poodle but I have never felt comfortable shaving her face and feet. Does anyone shave their poodle's face and feet or do you leave it to the groomer. I could get a longer time between grooming visits if I could do "face and feet". Any suggestions?

Good idea. I think I will go to Petco this morning and see if they have one.

I'm not about to attempt shaving my poodle's face and feet, but then again he's a toy poodle and they're more jittery than standards. I do trim his face with scissors if I've let him go too long between grooming, but other than that I leave it to the groomer. :D

I have a toy also and I wouldn't do her either. Neither dog likes a bath but Annie (standard) likes to be blow dried and brushed. I would like to be able to do her face and feet and then maybe I would be tempted to have the rest of her get longer.
