Doesnt look like our waitlist will come thru....

Just called to check on our waitlist and it hasnt come in.... But then again we are waitlisted for a 2 bedroom dedicated 2 queen for a Sunday night.

Ah well. I am at the point where I dont want it to come in because that would mean someone would be canceling their trip so late in the game.

I will call again on Friday, per the CMs instructions and ask again when we check in, but I will pack for a move....

Laura, I did the same thing this morning thinking that perhaps someone had cancelled their reservation for a 2 BR at BWV -- they didn't have anything available, of course! The lady I spoke with said even OKW (which is where we're staying) is totally booked up next week. Good luck -- who knows, something may come through yet...

Called today too. No DVC rooms anywhere on property was the answer I got.

<font face="times" size="+0">Laurabearz, have you tried asking MS to call BCV directly and see if they can pull over a room from cash inventory? IIRC, within 7 days of check-in, there is no more waitlist, and you just have to call everyday.

No luck on our waitlist either for a 2BR at either BCV or BWV. Next week, I'll be calling day to day to see if something opens up. I'm just thankful that I do have at least a 1BR confirmed for the days that I need.

They did call BCV for me... without me asking... I just gave my membership number and told the CM who answered that I bet they could guess why I was calling... she put me on hold right away and then came back with the news.

I will call again on Friday..... if I can hold out that long... but like I said in my OP, at this point I kinda of dont want it to come in, too sad to think about that family who thought they were going to WDW, but had to cancel, esp this late.

I will just pack a small bag with our first day stuff, and wait to fully unpack until the next day.

The big hiccup in all this is that we are planning a pool day on the day after arrival so it would be nice to have the room to hang out in..... Ah well.... such is life... and at this point with work and the stresses of the house remodel, we are grateful to have any vacation at all.
